PALM GROVE BEACH HOUSE DROMANA

This new holiday home is close to the beach and is a home away from home.
It caters for couples, families with young children or friends that want a weekend break near the beach.

Enjoy a lovely stroll to swimming beach 600 meters away or Dromana's main shopping strip offering a selection of wonderful restaurants to dine in. There is so much to do along the Peninsula Bay, this holiday home is in the best location to take advantage of it all.

The beach house comprises of 4 spacious bedrooms with large built in wardrobes and 2 bathrooms.
There is a Lounge/ Retreat area upstairs along with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom and separate toilet.
Downstairs comprises of a Large Living room, Kitchen, Dining area, 2 spacious bedrooms, bathroom, toilet and laundry. The bedroom locations are suitable for people that are unable to walk upstairs or prefer sleeping facilities on the ground level.

The home sleeps up to 8 adults and 2 infant/toddlers. Each bedroom has a queen size bed. There is 1 cot and 1 portable also available for use by guests.

The house was spacious and comfortable for our week long stay. There were toys and games in every cupboard for the kids and comfy couches both upstairs and downstairs to chill out on.However there were some things that were not ideal. Before my stay I was sent a detailed form by the host asking for information like car registration of all cars that will be staying and even for copies of my driver's licence. We also received a detailed list of rules which made me feel nervous about my stay. This list also pointed out that they do not provide basic products like soap. When we arrived we had to purchase dishwasher tablets and paper towel as there were insufficient supplies.The beds were very comfortable, but to reach the power point I had to move the heavy bed which caused some pieces of timber it was balanced on to fall over. I put theme back but was then quite nervous that the bed relied on the few pieces of timber it was delicately balanced on.When we checked out we were told we'd left the house messy and were asked to pay an additional 50. We were there for a week with 8 people and didn't leave any mess other than normal things you'd expect to need a clean after a one week family stay. We had cleaned all our dish and tried to vacuum but the vacuum was poor quality and didn't work well enough to pick up any dirt. We were told the pantry needed a deep clean after our stay which was confusing as we only kept packaged food in there. This really left us with a sour taste.

We loved this property! It's new, clean, provided everything we needed and was within a short walk to the beach. We travelled with another family and the set up of the house was perfect for that. One family had their own space upstairs and we had our space downstairs. It also had a lot of toys for my 2 young kids to play with, which kept them entertained during the times we were at the house. The owner was accommodating and quick to respond to my queries. We would look to book this property again if we visit this area again.

This is a new and very clean property. If you are looking for views though this is not it. Situated in a quiet suburban street and not an easy walking distance to the main strip. Kitchen is well equipped with lots of extras. Overall this is a well thought out property but in my opinion has two major flaws. No Wifi and the beds were uncomfortable. The Master was just bearable but the other beds were hard with no give and no comfort on top. The pillows were cheap and uncomfortable too. Address these issues and this will be top notch accommodation. The Mornington Peninsula is a great place to holiday.

Lovely property

The house looked beautiful and was very clean and in a fairly central location if you have a car. The kitchen was well stocked with lots of plates, cutlery, pots and pans, etc, even for the 7 of us staying. Unfortunately the beds were not comfortable and the house was really warm even for mild spring weather. There's a lot of glass and although there are split systems upstairs and downstairs in the main living areas the bedrooms get hot at night.

We had a great stay at the Palm Grove house. There were 5 adults, 1 toddler and 1 newborn and there was plenty of room. It made life easy having the cot in the main room for my newborn. Nice and close to the beach and shops. The house had everything you could ask for. Large bedrooms, 2 spacious living areas. Helen (the owner) is fantastic to deal with. We will definitely be back!!

We loved our stay at this beautifully presented home. Everything we could possibly need to make our stay pleasant was provided. The home was ultra-modern, light filled and all modern conveniences are there. It felt a luxury to be provided with fabulous freshly made up beds. There was four of us ladies so we each got to have our own rooms with a queen bed in each. One of the ladies was delighted to find there was a bath for her to relax in each evening. If ever we are back in the area we would love to stay here again.
