A great place for a family gathering. Close to beaches, Wildhop brewery and the best bakery in town.Wonderful stay with a beautiful tree view from the back veranda.
lovely property. would definitely stay again. location is perfect and house was lovely. we only had 1 x family of 4 but can easily take 2 x family of 4.
The cottages at yallingup were an ideal location to explore dunsborough to Margaret river. The house was delightful with great kitchen and laundry amenities. The quiet tranquil bush setting was relaxing. Great for families. We would Highly recommend this property.
Tucked away just off caves road close to Smiths Beach, Yallingup and Dunsborough town.
Well set up, big rooms, high ceiling and very comfortable cozy living. We had a great time!
Overall good family getaway
Family friendly but just have to watch littler kids as there is a couple of big drop offs off the patio.
Did get a bit warm as there is no air con but there was fans provided and if you opened up windows and doors you get a breeze through. Overall was a good stay, easy to get to location and not far from shops. Would recommend for a small weekend getaway.

Peaceful retreat
My brother and his family absolutely loved being so secluded yet so close to everything you need. They are from London and found the location perfect to experience the Aussie bush . The only reason it gets four stars and not five is because it’s not luxury but it’s everything you need.
Beautiful quiet location. Unfortunately some maintenance issues during our stay. Power outlet wasn’t working and fireplace had not been cleaned and wouldn’t light. Ended up cleaning it out ourselves and managed to get it working. Plenty of room for two families to stay. Beds were comfortable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.
We absolutely loved it. What a gorgeous place to stay. We had a ladies weekend for a couple of nights, it was very clean, homey, extra condiments and ample enough crockery and platters etc. lots of couch space for 8 ppl. Beautiful spot to sit outside and cozy and warm at night with the fire.
Lots of movies and books to choose from. It was definitely a home away from home without husbands and kids! Perfect spot for a little wine touring and beautiful setting.
We will hopefully be back sooner rather than later.
Thankyou Karen for a wonderful stay.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, listing accuracy
Not very clean furniture.
Nice secluded bush block setting.
The place wasn't as clean as other places we have stayed in for the same money.
3 frying pans in the kitchen but none that you would dare use. Dirty and unhygienic.
Our biggest gripe was the condition of the chairs and sofa. They were really dirty and we covered them with blankets to be able to use them.
Beautiful spot tucked into the bush setting with great big decking to enjoy the vista.
Loved this spot, so close to all the attractions and yet just far enough away to enjoy the peaceful bush surroundings. Great for our little 3 year old with lots of space inside and placed a spare mattress against the bunk bed to make a perfect safe sleeping spot for her.
Will stay again for sure! Thanks for the great memories!
This was a nice quiet property surrounded by bushland. A very convenient location for visiting all the places we wanted to go in the Dunsborough/Yallingup/MR region.
Our stay was enjoyed. Clean and tidy, as advertised. Firewood only lasted first night and we bought extra from Coles express Dunsborough, to last our stay.
No issues. Pretty area. More trees planted across back and the sides would make you feel more secluded. Kangaroos and rabbits out in morning, kangaroos evening too. Deck is nice for dining. A few outdoor games would be good - darts or quoits?
Bed we slept in was comfy.
Lounges are low with not high backs so have to slouch for comfort.
Overall we would stay again, very nice getaway, lots of exploring done bush and beach.
Thank you!!
Had a great stay. Worried about hot water system on late check in but the slight Fonzie touch on the taps worked well. Great amenities and will recommend and return
Close access to wonderful beaches. Clean, simple cottage. Owner has made sure there is everything for a comfortable stay with a family. Appreciated the addition of Nespresso machine.
Was a lovely cottage and photos didn’t do it justice.

About the host
Hosted by Karen Page
We live in Perth but love to get away to Yallingup. We really enjoy spending time at both Yallingup and Smiths beaches, as well as eating and drinking at many of the local wineries. There is so much to explore in the Margret River region!
Why they chose this property
We love The Clam because it is located so close to all the awesome things Yallingup has to offer. We Also love the setting in the bush as we always see kangaroos and it is such a quiet and relaxing spot.
What makes this property unique
Being so close to the beach, the pub and lots of wineries you can fit so much into every day it makes even a short stay feel like a holiday. The house is so easy to hang out in - the living room is cosy and made for great family evenings playing board games or watching a movie. The entertaining deck is my favorite spot in the early evening to watch the sun go down and enjoy the goodies we have collected on our travels, and usually involves a few kangaroo sightings
