Great Family Escape - relaxing getaway

The house is a 5-10 minute walk to the shops/Cape Tavern, 900 metres from the beach, and just a couple of doors down from the local park. With a full kitchen, you'll be cooking a up a storm in no time, and the dishwasher is there to clean up the mess! The fireplace is amazing on cold winter nights, and the high ceilings will keep you cool throughout the summer. There is a huge covered north facing deck out the back with an 8 burner BBQ, dining setting and lounges with still plenty of lawn for the kids. Its the perfect place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city to unwind and relax. You’ll love it because of the living space, deck, location and tranquillity. Its the perfect place for couples and families. Its on a quite gravel road so there are no cars zooming down the street.

Relaxing short stay

Really enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and very clean house. Cape Paterson is a great area to explore - the house was a gentle 10 min walk to the beach, with parkland and playground very close by.

Once again had a wonderful stay at this home. Walking distance to the bay and surf beaches. Family friendly getaway and would highly recommend. Nice and quiet location with a park nearby. As always Nicole was a pleasure to deal with.

Perfect holiday break

We loved our stay at this property it was perfect for a family to relax and unwind in. Its comfortable and warm with a large kitchen/dining/lounge room. Loads of videos and books and caters well for children. It has a lovely, enclosed back yard with a great table and bbq for those outdoor meals. Close to the beach and Tavern it is in an ideal location, and we would definitely come back!

Great property for a quick break

Great property with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable. Karege deck with BBQ and enclosed backyard. 600m from beach. Only downside was there is no internet and mobile reception is very poor...intermittent at best. Would recommend.

Cape Paterson Getaway

This was our second time back at the property and once again thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Nicole was a pleasure to deal with and we would highly recommend this property. Comfortable home near beaches and shops

Great house for us and 2 teenagers. Well set up kitchen and great to have games and lots of DVDs. Easy walk to the shops and main beaches. Bunk beds mattresses were a little hard. Needed a second fan for bedrooms for very hot days!

Excellent Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Cape Escape. It was great being so close to the beach and a stones throw away from the park.This was great for our young kids. The house was lovely and spacious. Pity about the weather on one of the days. Nonetheless we made the most of our stay. Special thanks to Nicole for being so wonderful to deal with. We will definitely be back, hopefully sometime soon.

Be careful

Loved Cape Paterson and we loved staying at this property but be careful they will take your bond. We cleaned up after ourselves and even put out the bins to be collected... never again.. bad experience.

Exceeded expectations

This property was perfect for 2 x adults and 4 big children. Upon arrival it was clean and organised and the living area and bedrooms exceeded images online. Backyard alfresco and kitchen was awesome, great second space. The kitchen and open plan living area fit all 6 of us at times and kitchen was really well equipped for families, dishwasher a bonus! Nicole and William were very quick to respond and accept booking. One toilet always a little challenge on these trips but when you’re out and about it really doesn’t matter. Excellent location and walking distance to nearby park and beach. No wifi but we always make that work on our little holidays if needed. Great value for money! Excellent host and property our 2 nights stay!

Great spot for a wintery family weekend!

We had a lovely weekend away! There was plenty of room, a cosy fire and plenty of toys, books and things to keep us all busy. It's well located close to a park and a short walk to the shops. Nicole and William were very easy to deal with and have a lovely place, which we would definitly stay at again. Thanks!

We had a lovely weekend here. I love that the beds were made up for us! It was really clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Lots of kids DVDs and toys which was great. The big comfy couches were a hit with us all!

Winter family getaway

Had a wonderful time! House was perfect for our family with younger kids - lovely surprise to have some toys and board games to play with. Very comfy beds too! Great location right next to a large park with playground. Highly recommend.

We love our lazy weekends in Cape Paterson, during the summer we spend our time on the large outdoor deck and cooking on the huge bbq. In winter, it is so lovely to stay warm in the front room and enjoy the fire place.
