This cozy mountain cabin was just what we were looking for - beautiful furnishings, amazing mountain views, and close to lots of hiking trails! The host was very responsive and quickly answered any questions we had. The cabin had everything we needed, with great Wi-Fi, extra towels and blankets, and a variety of cooking equipment, even including seasonal decorations and tableware. Highly recommended!
We enjoyed our three night stay at the cabin! It is a good size for a family of four or smaller. Everything we needed was included but we could have used more towels. We went on hikes and walked around Brevard. Looking for white squirrels was fun! WiFi is spotty in the mountains so plan accordingly. We would definitely recommend this quiet, cozy cabin.
We loved this cabin! Perched at the top of a mountain, it was everything we love about vacationing in the mountains, including the adventure of just getting to it! There were four of us...all retired and in our late 60's to mid-70's so one-level living was a plus. The cabin was clean, comfortable, had everything we needed and was itself a work-of-art! Linda was always helpful and replied to our inquiries immediately. Highly recommend!
Everything was absolutely perfect! The cabin was beautiful and delightfully decorated. Everything we needed was there! Except our food. Our hosts were so kind and wonderful 😊
We can't wait to visit again in Spring 🌱
It was a perfect retreat for my husband and I. If you're giving it a second thought DON'T!! I promise you won't regret it. Book Now. Thank you to Linda and her husband for being such wonderful hosts!

Thank you Sarah for your kind review. Hope to see you again in the spring. Linda
A beautiful cabin in an amazing location. The views from the many windows really are breathtaking!!! I like to cook and loved the well-stocked kitchen. The only thing missing was measuring cups and a kettle but apart from that, they seemed to have thought of everything. The Fall themed dishes, glass wear and napkins added a special touch that you don't expect in a rental property. I loved it and definitely hope to return. Thanks Bill and Linda!
We cannot say enough about this place. Yes, the last 1.5 miles is gravel and about 1/2 mile is one lane but the cabin is at the end of a dead end road so we rarely passed other cars. And it was so worth it to get there and sit on the deck and enjoy the ever-changing incredible view. The cabin is filled with cool hand crafted wooden items. It is clean and very comfortable. We are looking forward to a return visit.
The cabin provided for all needs to insure an outstanding mountain visit. Communication with the owners was excellent. There were no setbacks.
Beyond the cabins functional features, it was found to be a woodcraft work of art. All interior woodwork was beautifully crafted with great care. Each item of furnishing was a one of a kind, rustic, hand crafted treasure. One would have to see them to fully appreciate the their art.
The road to get there is a bit nerve wracking as it has many twists and turns and is a single lane with no shoulder. Overall the property is very nice, very secluded with the owner next door. There were a few things that would have made it perfect: the queen sized bed was so hard that it was not an option for a full night’s rest. The coffee pots were both broken but I was able to prop up the basket and get it going.
Towels, bedding, furnishings were very nice. The air conditioning was very good as well. If not for the single lane getting up and down, we would definitely go back for another visit.
Amazing location with spectacular views. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. Gas logs chased away the chill. Very nicely decorated with lots of wood furniture and finishes that gave it that cabin feel.

Beautiful... But...
I'll try to keep it as short as possible without expounding on it too much and I will start with the positives first. It is a cabin by every definition and is so beautifully well done, very nice touches all around. From the moment you reach the top of the gravel road as it opens up to an incredible mountain scenery, just breathtakingly peaceful and secluded. The location of the cabin is also a big plus... being so close to town with quite a few other beautiful cities nearby, made it very convenient to explore and visit. It is truly a cozy beautiful cabin in a great location.
Now for some minor negatives but negatives none the less. Me and my wife have stayed at several stays in the past and always received our check-in info almost immediately or two or three weeks prior to check-in. Unfortunately, for us I had to message Linda the day before we were leaving for the information as I felt leaving the house without this information was already making me feel uncomfortable in our choice being we had a long travel time. Thankfully she did respond right away and promptly sent the information. Upon our arrival we did notice some things a little out of place and by that I mean a few things were dirty. The coffee pot still had coffee in it, the grill was very greasy (so bad the flames burned for a bit to get rid of it) and some of the forks either had dried food or the sanitizer had dried in between the stems of fork. Also, the bed was very hard and uncomfortable so when all is said and done it just felt like from the moment we booked... we had expressed our excitement more than once at staying at this beautiful cabin from the very beginning and we did not receive a response after our messages of excitement. Just felt like our excitement was dampened a bit. She did respond when I had questions so I will give her that. Just kinda business like which is okay if you like that, was just expecting something more reading previous reviews and posts. If it wasn't for a bit of a rough start for us maybe these other things would not have made as big of an impact as they did. Would I recommend to stay here? Yes I would! All in all it's a good stay with with a picturesque setting, just a bit more of a welcoming feel and receiving our check-in information is what lead to a shaky start. Some things need to be worked out... At least that's the way we perceive it. Thanks Linda for giving us the opportunity to stay at your place.

We loved the quiet, beautiful setting. Very relaxing. Could sit looking at the mountains all the day long. Well equipped kitchen. Everything we needed for a week-long stay. The owners were gracious and helpful.
Loved the view, truly beautiful and quiet. Cabin was very clean and well maintained. I appreciate the cleanliness and attention to detail not only to interior but deck also. Owners even had extra tank for grill avail which is a plus. We did rental elsewhere and tank empty, stressful finding in small vacation town. Didn't use this trip, but still nice to know they have it covered. Not one negative thing I can say. Owners easily avail and prompt in reply. We definitely would recommend. Will note the single road is winding, difficult up hill, not optimal in small car. But I stress over driving, spouse felt truck handled well.
The cabin was perfect! Easy to find, clean and easy check in process. We loved that it was close to the park and Brevard but still felt secluded and relaxing.
My husband and I were SO happy with this tranquil and secluded cabin! The best part was the beautiful view, especially the sunsets. We liked the open concept and the big windows that allowed us to see that amazing view. Although the house had a log cabin look, it seemed new and had modern features. The bathroom had a really pretty shower and sink, as well as many towel bars and hooks. The owner, Linda, thought of everything a person would need to feel at home, from the comfortable living room seating to a welcome/treat basket to the nice furniture on the porch. If we ever return to N. Carolina, we will definitely stay at the Clear View Cabin!
The quaint cabin is charming. We loved all the natural wood and the rustic feel; it definitely felt like a cabin experience. The unit is nicely stocked with everything you need to feel right at home. It’s location is quiet and offers enough seclusion to give you privacy and make relaxing easy. We loved it!!!!
