Great House
Great House ! All luxuries and great kitchen. Too High up for a walk into town unless you're very fit. Map location misleading.
Able to fit 3 families comfortably.
Lovely few days with family of 7 adults and 2 toddlers. Property has plenty of room to spread out without feeling crowded. Great views, even if raining, inside was quite warm once the heating got going, everything we needed for meals, entertainment and relaxation.
Big house, well-equipped, clean, lots of space, huge deck with views over the bay, very quiet neighbourhood.
Only negative - the very steep hills when walking, but you have to pay a price for the great views!
Our small family celebrating our mother’s 80th birthday, dinner at Movida and three nights in this spectacular, well designed, beautiful abode. Naturally we did not want to leave. The views of the coastline, sensational. The house is perfect. It was also much enjoyed by our 2 family dogs. Thanks James for all your help, we loved it.
We had an absolutely fantastic week in Lorne, loved the house, fantastic kitchen- everything you need to stay home and enjoy this great property ( although Lorne has some amazing restaurants as well) . This home is very very well presented and appointed, amazing deck , beautiful view- which really made the week fantastic, so relaxing watching the watches roll in, lots of birds and wildlife/ kangaroos across the road , great exercise walking up and down the hill, close to main street and beach , close to queens park and beautiful walking tracks. We had a fantastic week and would highly recommend , we will definitely stay again .
On arrival we were confused by the quantity of food and drinks already in both fridges and pantry, without any prior explanation. There was little pantry space until we clear what was already there. There was other personal items around the house which we found to be odd. The driveway access is a little testing with loose gravel etc., but, there was prior notice of this. When stripping the bed in the master bedroom we found the underlay to be stained and well worn.

We loved staying here. James made us feel very welcome and the house is stunning. Great having two levels so the kids could have their own space. And the deck is amazing.
Our time at the property was very comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed the friendly and extremely well appointed light filled and spacious upper floor, with plenty of beds and bathrooms for all on the lower level.....and more. A very comfortable environment. It was a great holiday and I recommend visiting this lovely property for a really enjoyable time with friends or family. Beautiful beaches nearby and plenty to do in the area. Thanks!!!

Perfect family holiday
We stayed over january 2019. The house was made extremely welcoming on arrival and was very well appointed. The views are magnificent and the multiple living areas perfect for a large group of differing ages. The owner was a joy to deal with and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful part of Lorne.
