Wattle Bank Retreat - Farmstay/B&B

Wattle Bank Retreat is ideally located just a short drive to the towns of Inverloch and Wonthaggi and is the perfect location to stay when visiting the Bass Coast and surrounds. Fully self contained barn style accommodation, includes a well equipped kitchen, 3 bedrooms and a wood heater for those chilly nights. Ideal for couples or families - sleeps a maximum of 6 and pets are most welcome. Generous breakfast provisions supplied on the first morning including bacon, free range eggs, bread, milk and more. Come and meet our friendly Dexter cows, curious Alpaca's & cheeky chickens and enjoy the peace and serenity of our little farm. With plenty of local attractions close by including Philip Island, Wilsons Promontory, Coal Creek, the beautiful beaches of Inverloch and Cape Paterson, wineries, markets and much more, there's always something to do.

PETS ARE WELCOME
We're happy to have your pets come and stay too as long as they are friendly and well behaved. They can even sleep indoors, but are not permitted in the bedrooms or on the furniture please. A cleaning charge will be applied to your booking post departure if barn is left in an unreasonable state. The barn backyard is fully fenced, with shade and water. Please note: guests are fully responsible for their pets at all times. Dogs are not permitted in the paddock with the alpacas as they are very protective & will attack any animal they think is a threat to our chickens. Dogs are not to be left indoors if you go out for the day or night. Barking dogs will not be tolerated as this upsets the alpacas.

We enjoyed a most wonderful relaxed stay. Accom had a cosy rustic feel and was amazingly cool despite the summer heat. Everything we needed was provided including lovely breakfast provisions. Our young family enjoyed our stay at Wattle Bank Retreat. The kids loved feeding the chooks and alpacas, and made full use of the many toys and books that were available in the barn. It's clear that Donna and Graeme care about the little things - the fridge was stocked with bacon, fresh eggs, bread, and a bunch of kitchen staples that meant us tired parents didn't have to worry about breakfast during our stay there.

We moved here to Wattle Bank from Melbourne because we wanted to get out of the hustle & bustle of the city and we've always had a dream of owning a bit of property. We've holidayed at Inverloch many times so we knew the area quite well. We really love it here because it's quiet and peaceful but also close enough to Inverloch & Wonthaggi so everything we need is only a few minutes drive away.

Why they chose this property

We liked this property straight away because of it's location and proximity to everything. There's so much to see and do around here and many beautiful beaches close by so there is never a shortage of things to do. It's the perfect location to live or just get away for a few days to relax or explore.

What makes this property unique

Quiet and peaceful, lots of local attractions close by including Philip Island, Wilsons Prom, wineries, cafe's, shops, markets, beaches. Or you can just stay here and be entertained by our gorgeous farm animals. Get up close and personal with our friendly Dexter cows, alpaca's, cheeky goat and happy chickens.
