Botanica - Gorgeous Miner's Cottage

Warm and cosy, Botanica is a charming country miners cottage perfectly located within walking distance to the famous Convent gallery. Backing straight onto the Wombat Hill Botanic Gardens, the property has a beautiful hidden garden with stunning views to Mt Franklin.

Lovely bedrooms will have you sleeping soundly to the sounds of the country. A beautiful sunlit lounge features an open fire for winter nights, whilst the dining area opens up onto a stone terrace perfect for those sunny Spring / Summer days. A large well-equipped kitchen allows you to stay in and cook from home, and for those who want to make the most of eating out and exploring the region, the best of Daylesford is a short stroll away.

Botanica is a quintessential Daylesford cottage where you can dream the days away mesmerized by lovely views across the town and gardens.

Please note: The original open wood fire has been replaced with a glass-front wood heater.

Whilst there is a driveway at the cottage, it is too steep for most cars to safely access. There is plenty of on-street parking outside the cottage, however.

We really enjoyed the cottage. Comfortable, clean, well furnished with all we needed.However, it is at the top of a hill, so “a few minutes walk to the town centre” turned into a slow haul for anyone pushing a pram or in less good health on the way back up the hill. Stayz really should make that clear.And be careful with the shower controls. Very sensitive.

Lovely Cottage

We loved our stay at Botanica. It's a super cute and comfortable cottage that is equipped with all you need. The fireplace was lovely and the welcome hamper so luxe and appreciated. The driveway is a bit tricky and you need to part on the street and so be careful carrying luggage and things in and out. When wet it's slippery underfoot.

Botanica cottage Daylesford

Fabulous cottage in the heart of Daylesford. Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was at our fingertips. Gorgeous gardens & oh so comfy beds. Would definitely stay there again.
