The Perfect Kauai Getaway!

Hale Maluhia is a large, fully equipped condominium/studio unit fronting on a tree lined walking path leading down to Anini Beach. It has a large, look well equipped kitchenette, Queen size bed, Wi-Fi, Smart TV, a full bath, beach towels, beach chairs, beach umbrella, snorkel gear and a portable cooler (no AC or laundry facilities). The lanai is perfect for stargazing or just enjoying some quiet outdoor reading. There's reserved parking, a great pool area with a communal barbecue, and shopping and restaurants are just minutes away. Guests are limited to 2 adults (one must be over 25 years old) and STAYS ARE LIMITED TO A MAXIMUM OF 7 NIGHTS. Princeville at Hanalei's location is conveniently close to Kilauea, Hanalei and the rest of Kauai's North Shore's numerous beaches and features. Beautiful condo and perfect location

My wife and I stayed for a week. Location was perfect for all the activities we had planned. The drive to the other side of the island wasnt very long (about an hour) so on days we ventured to the southern part of the island it was no problem. Check in process was easy and the condo was well stocked. Would highly recommend this property.

Pleasant stay in great location

Great location! Very convenient to Anini beach. Very clean, equipped with a good selection of kitchen gear (the French press and blender came in handy) and snorkel gear.

Great location, nice condo, only issue no a/c, nights were a warm with just the fans. (But there were 4 of them!) Really great having beach chairs, umbrella ( which was broken, the screw in bottom portion stripped out so couldn’t drill it into the sand), snorkeling gear for 2. Nice it had a toaster oven for cooking and a big fridge and freezer.

Trip to Kauai

We loved our time in Kauai and in the Paniolo condos. The room was clean and Rick had all the kitchen supplies you could need. One piece of advice, read through the red folder when you check in. It wasn’t until the morning we left that I realized we had snorkel equipment in a box on the porch and I never got to use it!

Great stay

Very nice studio in Princeville. We had all the amenities we needed and directions and communication were very clear. Having a parking spot was very handy. This is a good central location in Princeville. Would recommend this property for those looking for an affordable place to stay in the North Shore of Maui. Thanks for a nice visit!

Nice place to stay for the week.

Place was nice and clean. Quiet for the most part (upstairs neighbors were a bit heavy footed). Everything was provided that was needed for a comfortable stay - only thing I would suggest would be a single hot plate for cooking. I would recommend for a single person or a couple.

Perfect little spot in Princeville

We stayed at Rick's property for 3 nights and it was perfect. He has supplied the unit with everything you might need on a short getaway. He was quick to respond if I had any questions. It was in a good location for our purposes and I would not hesitate to book this unit again when I come back to visit the north side of the island.

Great place to stay.

This property was perfect for our 7 day getaway as a base to explore the entire island. Cleanliness was a 10/10. I slept like a baby in the bed. Us Texans love our AC, but the amount of fans and windows provided made the room feel very comfortable. Very quiet and beautiful property grounds as well. For the price, you will not find a better place to stay in Princeville. Save your time shopping around. We will be back!

Perfect Island Getaway

This was our second stay in Rick's condo and once again it was a great experience! The unit is secluded, quiet, and tranquil, yet close to shopping, beaches, restaurants, etc. Everything we needed to enjoy our stay was included in the condo, and best of all, it was super clean, comfortable and well maintained. Rick is always a pleasure to deal with, and I can promise you, he'll be the first one we check with for availability on our next trip to the Islands. Perfect Kauai Getaway

This was a clean small place to stay. It was perfect for my wife and I. Good location for access to things as wanted to do, and Princeville shopping center right up the road. The only downside was no stove, only microwave and toaster oven, and directly behind the unit, where the deck is, is a major construction site that we noisy during the day. But fortunately we were out all day most days, and construction activity ceased around 5:00pm. Overall a great economical place to stay and I recommend it.

Perfect home base in Princeville

Rick’s place was cozy with all that we needed as a home base on Kaua’i. Great location in Princeville, with very good restaurants within reasonable driving distances. Rick even took my call at stupid early in the morning when I locked myself out of the unit and needed help finding the spare key! Sorry again, Rick!

Amazing first time Kauai experience

Great location, very clean and organized place, it is obvious Rick has been doing this for years. Reserved parking spot which is not always included in condo type rentals. All the essentials are there to prepare food which helps with spending more time doing activities and saving money. We loved the place and would love to come back some time in the future.

Princeville Aloha

Our stay in the condo was fabulous! The owner is Aloha in action—he provided everything we needed, and responded immediately to our emails. The condo was exceptionally clean. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the towels were very nice. The pool was just the right temperature and the gas BBQ came in handy. The path to beautiful, quiet Anini beach was just steps away from the back lanai. The shops and restaurants were also within walking distance. We definitely recommend choosing this condo!

4-day getaway

This studio was more roomie than I expected:) It was in a great location and host really kept it clean, organized and met needs!! The stuff they had for beach activity was awesome!! Lots of fans, which i know would be helpful in hot times. I was there in Nov and it rained a lot. There are beaches both north & south so very easy to access. Easy check in process:) the hosts took pride in this space. Loved the beach themes:)

Good little unit

Im overall very happy with this property. Things were clean and there are a good variety of kitchen appliances to be able to make food at the unit, which i loved since i was trying to stay within a budget. The location is great too, i really liked being within walking distance of a park, foodland, and anini beach. You can hear footstepts from the upstairs unit, but it wasnt bothersome. I would definitely recomment this property to anyone looking to save some money and stay in a studio style toom.

I traveled much of the world and found myself on Kauai in 1979. I knew the minute I arrived that I was home. I continued to vacation on Kauai yearly and finally decided to move to Kauai full time in 1986. I moved to the mainland in 2010 to explore the U.S., but Kauai stayed on my mind and in 2015 I came "home".

Why they chose this property

I looked at the numerous options available and decided that at this stage in my life a condo would be the best thing for me. Paniolo offers a great location and amenities such as an on-site pool, a trail down to Anini Beach and the convenience of being just minutes away from world class beaches, numerous outdoor activities, shopping, a library and park.

What makes this property unique

The quiet location and proximity to the North Shores numerous wonderful beaches, shopping, restaurants and outdoor activities offers something for everyone. I recently added a large kitchenette, refurbished the bathroom and added a privacy wall to separate the sleeping area from the dining and entertainment areas. I've tried hard to provide everything you'll need to have a safe and enjoyable getaway. It's the perfect getaway for either a single traveler or couple. E Komo Mai!
