Cannot wait to go back for another family trip

Our stay at Wombat edge was simply the best . From my parents in law to my nephew, everyone enjoyed the stay so much. The beautiful environment that the property provides is just perfect for a family trip. Will book again for sure .

Wonderful retreat

This property gives more than advertised. It is in a stunning setting with own lake. Kayak to take out with life vests. Perfect playground for kids under supervision. Fully functioning kitchen, BBQ and woodfire pizza oven. Local pub 700 mtrs away so an easy walk. Just beautiful. Gardens are beautiful creating a relaxing environment to unwind in. Thanks.

Magical … home away from home

Wombat Edge encompasses so much … warmth, comfort, style, stunning wildlife. A perfect hideaway, yet close to Trentham, Daylesford for a nostalgic wander. We went into town for brekky but couldn’t wait to get back to Wombat Edge to enjoy the ambience of the fire pit, lake and open fireplace. Definitely a perfect getaway destination.

The perfect wedding weekend property

The best looking property in town! A picturesque backdrop for my wedding photos with the most relaxing surroundings that made our weekend amazing. The beautiful wildlife and lake made it easy to sit outside in the cold and watch on as the kangaroos grazed throughout the misty morning. We can't wait to book again and make use of the lake in summer. Thanks so much for having us, it honestly made our weekend perfect.

Total relaxation surrounded by beautiful scenery

Our family had a wonderful long weekend at Wombat Edge. We arrived to a beautifully clean and welcoming home. Little lamps and cosy rugs in every room. It made for a very relaxing and comfortable stay. The owners had thought of everything from games to books, bikes, cricket bats, tennis rackets and even a canoe and little boat to use on the lake. The surrounding gardens were wonderfully kept. We didn’t see our children for most of the day on Saturday as they had so many things to keep them active outside including a basketball ring! The love is definitely in the detail and that’s what you get when you stay at Wombat Edge. Thankyou 😊
