This bright, roomy studio apartment offers all the comforts of home for couples, friends, and families. Located in the heart of the beautiful Tamar Valley, it makes the perfect base for day trippers to explore some of the best that Tassie has to offer.
There is a queen bed, single with trundle.
We’re a 5 minute walk to the Beaconsfield Mine & Heritage Museum and Miners Gold Brewery. Seahorse World & Platypus House are a short drive away. Further afield you’ll find destinations like Cradle Mountain National Park and the Great Lakes.
It's the many little extra touches that make our Goldfields Studio Apartment unique and special. Extras that don't sound like much, but can make all the difference to your holiday and Tassie experience.
Some of these extras include -
*Fully airconditioned
*Off street parking at door
*Private Entrance & patio
*Porta cot, baby bath and high chair available.
*An umbrella at the front door, ready for that Tassie rain shower.
*A complete backpack picnic set, small esky and thermos available for guests use.
*Rechargable torch always charged and on hand if needed
*Small first aid kit, sewing kit and stationary on hand in the sideboard drawer
*Beach towels supplied
*Fully stocked bookcase with something for all ages
*Board games and playing cards
* Lots of Tassie magazines, tourist brochures and info
*Free wi-fi with strong signal, 55 inch smart TV with Netflix
* Pantry staples, such as tomato sauce, flour, oil etc on hand
*Filtered water (although the tap water is great here too)
* Ice and ice bricks ready in the freezer.
*Luggage racks, so no bending to get to your bags on the floor
*Our property is fully fenced and gated
Just a small sample of some of Goldfields Studio Apartment little extras.
Beaconsfield is centrally located making it the perfect base for many day trips. Launceston is just 40 minutes drive, Launceston Airport is 50 minutes and Devonport just 60 minutes drive away.
Goldfields Studio apartment comes with a fully equipped kitchen, but if you feel like sampling the local cuisine, there are many dining options within a short drive. We are also surrounded by the wineries and orchards that Tassie is renown for.
Our guests have access to the front and back yards and have a their own patio. We also provide shared access to the laundry via the back door.
Guests have their own entrance, patio and car parking area. Your space is your own, but please do not hesitate to come and see us upstairs if you require anything or need local info. Rod would be more then happy to talk fishing.
As you enter the property, you will see your accommodation and parking area to the left of the stairs.
Goldfields Studio Apartment is located in a quiet residential street.
Please note - Google maps of Beaconsfield seems not to have been updated for many years. As a result our property, which has had extensive upgrades to the house and yards looks rather different to the image that appears when you to Google it. So it is best to look for the street number on arrival and not rely on the Google picture.

About the host
Hosted by Patricia Toovey

My husband, Rod and I have spent the last 10 years touring the country with Rod's music, spending a lot of the year in Tasmania. We fell in love with this beautiful state and moved here permanently from NSW in 2016 . We spent those 3 years renovating our lovely home in Beaconsfield as well as still touring with the music.
In 2019 we started work on turning our never developed downstairs area into my holiday accommodation studio. After working for many years in the hospitality industry in NSW, I am now back to doing what I love, looking after guests. We are thrilled with how it has all come together, and we are sure our guests will love it too.
Rod & I look forward to welcoming you and making your Beaconsfield and Tamar Valley experience a very enjoyable one.
