Welcome to Alohawaii Properties by the Sea, a licensed transient accommodations operator (License 1990/NUC-1760), Registration Numbers GE-039-001-2928-01, TA-039-001-2928-01).

We have an amazing location under a 1 minute walk to Kailua Beach Park! Our villa is tucked away on a private beach lane, offering a beautiful shared pool, hot tub, and lush Hawaiian gardens. Inside, you'll find air conditioning in every room and free WiFi. For your convenience, we provide a hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. You'll also have shared access to a washer/dryer with laundry supplies, a gas BBQ, bikes, boogie boards, coolers, beach chairs, mats, and towels for outdoor fun. Please note that there is a spiral staircase in the unit. Both bedrooms are upstairs, and you'll need to pass through one bedroom to reach the other. However, each bedroom has its own private bathroom.

The highlight of our villa is its unbeatable location just a short 1-2 minute walk down a private beach lane to Kailua Beach Park, recognized as one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. The calm waters, thanks to the coral reef just half a mile offshore, make it perfect for swimming, snorkeling, and kayaking.

Th location of this property is priceless. Just a two minute walk to a gorgeous beach and beautiful sunrises and sunsets with public bathrooms and showers available. The owners were readily available to answer questions without delay and offer local suggestions. We are sad to leave today after only a week.

This is a perfect spot for a family visiting Oahu. I can’t say enough about the location and the host. The beds slept great, the setup was excellent , and Kailua was awesome. Anyone is very lucky, to find this place available during their dates.

First time on oahu! The house is in a great location right across from the beach. My husband and I enjoyed the stay and would definitely return. If renting a vehicle, I would recommend maybe a compact due to tight parking.

Parking was very tight, would be nice to have a heads up that compact vehicles are best. Great location. Building is dated and needs some deep cleaning, patching and painting. Active bird nest above window in the large bedroom is loud in the mornings. Pool was clean and taken care of daily. Would be nice to have more clear instructions on operating the jacuzzi.

This was our third stay here, and it was just as great as the last. Zak was fantastic—quick to respond and very helpful whenever we had questions. We really enjoyed the pool and hot tub, and appreciated having coolers, beach mats, and beach toys available. The short walk across the street to Kailua Beach is incredibly convenient. We’ll definitely be staying here again the next time we’re in town!

Amazing location ! Pool was beautiful. Walk to beach. Everything was very clean. Hosts were very nice. Coffee maker. Decent sized refrigerator. Hot plate and microwave but no oven or cooktop. Steve and I lived in Colorado for 10 years and had our first child, Sharly. She was 3 months premature and weighed in at a whopping 1 pound!! When she turned one, she weighed almost 10 pounds. Her doctor said that she would grow if we moved her to a warmer climate.. that it was difficult for her to maintain a 98.6 degree body temperature without burning so many calories. So, we moved to Hawaii.. with $500 in the bank and our little daughter. That was in December, 1979. And here we are 35 years later. Sharly has since married, given birth to our grandaughters, Kaylee and Riley, and has moved back to Colorado. We had our son, Zak after moving to Hawaii. He married his high school sweetheart, Amber, and they have 2 sons. And, he just began working for us full time!
There's more to the story, so come and stay with us to hear the rest. We love our guests and have many repeat visitors to our lovely rentals.

Why they chose this property

We bought our house before it became a vacation rental. We owned a small travel agency and people were always asking if there was anywhere to stay other than Waikiki. So we decided to rent out some rooms in our home to accommodate our clients and to make a little extra money. There were no hotels in our town and the beach was just gorgeous. Little did we know that Kailua would become such a B&B mecca.

What makes this property unique

You will love the hospitality and service we provide our guests. The beach is absolutely gorgeous and the property is like walking into Shangri La. Steve's gardens are breathtaking and the pool is beautiful.
