Welcome to Buckberry, located 3.2 miles from the center of Highlands and 7 miles from Cashiers. This is a well-appointed 3 bedroom home, nestled within a well-developed community. There are 2 community ponds complete with fish and resident ducks and the property has rolling manicured front and back yards. The very comfortable living room has a gas log fireplace and a smart TV with satellite service. There is a sun room off the living room with a comfortable couch. The open deck is accessible from the sun room and has rockers to laze away the summer afternoons with a good book or a glass of wine. The kitchen has granite counter tops and stainless steel appliances. For your convenience, there is a Keurig coffee machine as well as a traditional drip coffee machine. A large island with a sink also serves as a snack bar. Off the kitchen and living room, there is a breakfast nook with a lovely view. Also off the kitchen is the formal dining room which seats eight. The King master bedroom has a 55" smart TV with satellite service. The en-suite bathroom has a walk-in shower. There are two guest bedrooms each with queen beds and 48" smart TVs with satellite TV service. The guest bedrooms share a bathroom with a walk-in shower. Bathroom towels are also provided. These linens are professionally laundered. For guests' safety, the top-layer bedding (quilts, comforters, etc.) has been removed. Your reservation includes a damage protection plan. The damage protection plan is $50, and it covers up to $3,000 in damages. In lieu of purchasing the damage protection plan, guests have the option to choose a refundable security deposit. If you would like to pay a refundable security deposit, please contact us. The security deposit is $500 and will be administered subject to the NC Tenant Security Deposit Act.
