Fun inside or out with game room, fenced yard and 1/2 mile to beach or town.

Love this quiet neighborhood close enough to walk to town , beach, ‘kids corner’ play ground or the Van Buren Trail. At the same time far enough away to have a peaceful time in the large fenced in backyard. Play some pool in the basement or ping pong in the garage. Walk a 1/2 mile to the beach or town. Bring your own bike or hop on one provided and explore the Van Buren or Kal Haven Trails. Play some family board games after a meal at the large dinning table.
Only weekly rentals during the summer season from June through mid September with a turnover day of Saturday.

I highly recommend this house. Our family had a great time and used the provided bikes every day. It’s a great location in South Haven that we all really enjoyed. My children also enjoyed the pool table and ping pong tables.

Stayed here with some friends for an event at the race track nearby. Tons of small beds and plenty to do. (Games, pool table, bicycles, ect) Would recommend to families with several kids more so than a group of buddies for the track.

Nice, quiet neighborhood close to blue stairs, Kid's Park, and downtown. The fenced in double lot yard was great for our dog! This was our second time staying here and hopefully will be able to do so again next year.

We came during off-season, but the weather was perfect. We enjoyed the house and property. We didn't cook in the kitchen; it really didn't lend itself to that. The basement bathroom and shower were confusing and awkward, but we got used to it.

Awesome location to beach/town/kids park! House was well maintained, and the multiple games (pool, ping pong, air hockey) were a huge hit with the little one. Host was accommodating and quick to respond to any question I had. We literally walked to the beach access and downtown everyday without issue. Highly recommend!

Although we live in the Chicago area, we grew up in Michigan and always wanted a place in this beautiful state. I am a retired science teacher and my wife is a retired swim instructor. Our son currently is teaching math and science in Quito, Ecuador.

Why they chose this property

We wanted a place for small family reunions. We had to have excellent swimming, good bicycling, and things to do within walking distance. South beach, 1/2 mile west, has excellent swimming and there are 2 nice bicycle trails, the paved Van Buren Trail running 5 miles south and the limestone Kal Haven trail running 33 miles east. Plus there are many back roads suitable for biking. The cute little town of South Haven is just a half mile north with many shops, fine restaurants and a movie theater.

What makes this property unique

Sunsets over Lake Michigan, kayak or canoe up the Black River or take a boat ride out on Lake Michigan.
