Handmade jewelry, local antiques and vintage Mardi Gras costumes are on sale at the monthly Little Flea NOLA market, while a stretch of Magazine Street has antiques shops and clothing boutiques. Tiny parks like Annunciation Square and Coliseum Square are local gathering spots. If you have any questions about the neighborhood, please send us a message!

Please note: this is the upstairs unit of a duplex; the downstairs is occupied.
Hardwood floors catch the afternoon light, jazz drifts up from the street below, and a cup of coffee tastes better on a balcony overlooking one of New Orleans' most beloved corridors. This restored second-floor unit on Magazine Street puts you squarely in the heart of Uptown living - close to everything, yet settled enough to feel like home.
Living space The open-concept living area is bright and inviting, anchored by tall windows that flood the space with natural light and curated décor that nods to the neighborhood's character. Settle in for the evening with the 55-inch HDTV featuring Netflix and Roku, or gather around the dining area after a full day of exploring. A ceiling fan keeps the air moving, and central air conditioning and heating ensure comfort no matter the season.
Sleeping arrangements Three quiet, well-appointed bedrooms offer restful retreats after long days out. Each room features plush beds dressed in cozy linens, room-darkening shades, and ample clothing storage - including closets and dressers - so unpacking and settling in feels effortless. Bathroom Two full bathrooms are stocked with the essentials - shampoo, conditioner, body soap, shower gel, and fresh towels - so you can travel light. Both feature a bathtub, hot water, hair dryer, and cleaning products for a comfortable, self-sufficient stay.
Outdoor living Both front and rear balconies give you private outdoor space to ease into the morning or wind down at the end of the day. During parade season and local festivals, these balconies become front-row spots for the street-level energy that makes New Orleans unlike anywhere else.

In-unit washer and dryer handle longer stays with ease, and a safe, iron, and hangers round out the practical extras. Laissez-Faire Lounge on Magazine is the perfect location to access all that New Orleans has to offer both Uptown and Downtown/Quarter. It's very clean with the charm of an old NOLA home but updated with everything you need. Would definitely stay again!

You can’t beat this location! Walking distance to shops and restaurants. Very quiet and safe. The apartment was very clean. Our favorite area of the apartment was the porch and the rocking chairs. Would highly recommend this VRBO.

Thanks for the incredible review Trish! We're so happy you had a wonderful time staying with us and found the location great! We hope you choose to book with us next time you visit NOLA!
The property was clean and had the essentials we needed. The apartment was brght and airy. The front porch was delightful. The area was within walking distance of several restaurants and shops. The only downside was the lack of closet space, but that is the norm in New Orleans. The area felt safe and it was a nice place to walk around. It was convienent for my daughter to come by and pick us up as well.
