It was the perfect home for our family with adult-aged children. It was incredibly well stocked and was centrally located near the downtown area, close to stores and restaurants and a short drive to many of the major ski areas. It was our first time to the Tahoe area and we will definitely return.

Amazing home for a great get away!
We enjoyed our visit so much last year we rented again this year! This home is well planned out with rooms for many guests and an amazing kitchen to cook in! TV's are available at every angle if you have sports fans in your family!
This is a 5 star resort getaway!

Hi Pat,
Thanks for the great review! We look forward to hosting you again soon.
Beautiful upscale home in Incline Village. All photos are true and accurate. Everything about this home is stunning. Kitchen is huge with everything a family would or could use. All bedrooms have their own bathroom. Main bedroom is an oasis of space and luxury. The view was beautiful. Our entire family enjoyed the hot tub. We even had snow!!
Such a big fancy house that everyone in our party of 8 (and 2 dogs) enjoyed very much. There were a few issues with certain lights not turning off, and we weren't able to use the speakers b/c of the ipad that controlled the whole system not working, but those are really minor bits that are outweighed by the kitchen that was well-stocked with everyone one would need to make meals, comfortable beds, heated floors (and driveway) throughout, a nice hot tubs, and a beautiful view. We'd stay there again if we could.

This place is awesome! Extremely clean lots of patio and a free work out with all the steps in the home:). Book confidently nothing but positive surprises like already hot, hot tub! Room lay out is great for having personal space.
There were six of us and plenty of room to spread out. The house was nice and clean. The gas fire places were fantastic and the entertainment systems were great and very easy to use.
After a day skiing, the kids enjoyed their time in the hot tub. Also, the heated driveway was extremely nice to have, too.
The kitchen was nice and spacious had everything we needed to cook. It was also great being able to park our cars in the garage. Overall, I was very happy with this house and would definitely recommend this house to others.
When I tell you the photos looked great but the actual house exceeded what I thought I saw. This property is amazing. Modern, open, double everything! Double sinks, double microwaves, double ovens. Double dishwasher, and a Commercial cooktop.
The property was large enough and capable to handle all our large capacity needs. Beautiful layout. We loved every single balcony and the hot tub! We will certainly be back.
We booked this trip about 4 weeks ahead- any questions I had got answered very quickly and respectfully. Unfortunately, a huge storm happened and we were unable to stay at the property / go on the trip whatsoever. I’d book with Sue & Boyd again if I got the opportunity and weather was on my side. I got refunded for the night the roads got closed- which is exactly what I needed. Good & honest people, from my experience!

We booked this beautiful property several months in front of our daughter's wedding for our entire family. One of the main reasons was for the elevator to help my elderly parents enjoy the place. At last minute we were informed that it was broken and couldn't be fixed. This turned out to be a major hardship, but appreciated the owners refund. Lots of games to enjoy and lovely to be outside and enjoy the yard and the hot tub. I wouldn't recommend this place if it is warm. Only the master suite is air conditioned and this made for the other areas of the house to be uncomfortable.

Thank you for this great feedback! I'm delighted to say the elevator has now been repaired. Unfortunately, we tried to do everything we could do to get the elevator fixed prior to your arrival, but it was impossible. I'm sad that this impacted your stay so much, and I pleased you appreciated the $500 refund as a token of apology. As per our website, we ask that guests inform us at the time of booking, if they require use of the elevator. Additionally, to address your second point, it is worth noting that most private homes in Lake Tahoe do NOT have air conditioning, as weather in the Tahoe Basin typically doesn't get that hot and it usually cools down quite significantly in the evenings (with the exception of a very few evenings of warmer weather), hence air conditioning is usually unnecessary. Villa Pietra is quite unique in that it DOES offer air conditioning in the master suite (as noted in your feedback) and this is how, we promote it exactly how we promote it to guests.
This house is perfect for a large family or a couple families traveling together. Each bedroom has its own well appointed bathroom, the beds are comfortable, the game room had lots of fun options, and the kitchen is incredible. There's room for multiple cooks at once, or family to hang out with the cook but still be out of the way and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook multiple large meals. One bedroom's closet has been converted to be more for office storage; it had no hanging space for clothing. The yard was perfect for snow play. The driveway was heated so we didn't have to shovel despite the snowfall while we were there. The house itself was warm and comfortable despite having gorgeous vaulted ceilings. There are filtered lake views from multiple rooms. The primary bedroom is amazing- huge, tons of storage, fireplace, massive bathroom with bidet/heated toilet seat. The house is very split- there are a lot of short sets of stairs dividing the spaces. This is nice if you're with a large group and want to feel more spread out, but could be hard for those with lesser mobility. While there is an elevator, it is not accessible to guests.
The home is gorgeous and the location is ideal. A fantastic layout, superb kitchen, great provisions and accessories for cooking, plenty of room and a style that makes you feel super star worthy. The beds are large and comfortable, the textiles luxurious and all the amenities provided make the stay an exercise in indulgence.
HOWEVER, if you want to enjoy the audio-visual system you had better have a masters degree in engineering. The DVD player in the family room did not work thru the Control 4 system, and we wound up having to play the one in the office thru the menu after much experimentation. Same with the Apple TV; never got it to work and had to use the Smart TV function thru the aforementioned DVD player. Calls to the management firm regarding these issues resulted in silence and no response. Very sad.
This house is amazing! So comfortable and so many different spaces to enjoy-- vaulted ceilings with exposed beams, and many different outdoor decks to enjoy the lake views. And the kitchen, which is the central part of the overall space, is incredible! Although it was just our family staying this time, this house is perfect for gatherings of friends and family, after Covid calms down. We really enjoyed our stay, and we hope to return later this year!
Great get away in the midst of a pandemic. We went with our social bubble and quarantined before staying here. Home was immaculate! Has everything you can possibly need, I just wish I knew before leaving my house since I over packed. We went with 3 families each with small kids all under 5 years old. Pantry was stocked with essential condiments and seasonings. They had a playpen, high chair, infant walker, instant pot, espresso machine, air fryer, blender more than you can need in a kitchen. Location is less than 2 miles to Raley's. Nice view of the lake. Fresh snow so kids were able to sled on the driveway then enjoy time in the hot tub. They even had hand sanitizer for us! We couldn't ask for more. We will definitely be back!
Communication was easy! The house was spacious and set up with everything you needed! Fully stocked kitchen and pantry. Master bedroom is huge with a lot of closet space and washer and dryer setup. There are a lot of stairs, so keep an eye on your younger children. We enjoyed the backyard as there was snow for kids to play in. House was very clean, the only complaint was some of the pillow had pet hair even after being washed. We ended up doing another cycle, which was no problem. Even the dogs had a great time!
This place was beautiful! Even more picturesque than the pictures. The whole home is "smart" run by an iPad, which was great. I grew up with a house in Incline on Tyner and this brought back all the warm feelings of winter in Tahoe, with new age technology. The furniture was comfortable and there was enough sitting area for the kids to relax in one room/deck, while the adults were in the other room. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing/sledding. Oh, and the kitchen is beautiful and well stocked! I have never been more satisfied with a kitchen while VRBOing! Will definitely return!

Great Place
This was our second stay at this house. It is a luxury property with all the accouterments one would expect in a high end home. And the view of the lake, especially from the master bedroom is very nice. Our only complaint is the complexity of using the AV system. We never could get the music system working (two years in a row); but the Alexa speaker in the master proved to be a nice back up.

Villa Pietra
Nice location. Great kitchen. Decent partial view of Tahoe. 4 well laid out bedrooms with individual baths. Entertainment system needs to be simplified, it is difficult to use and we had problems separating the 4 TV locations. Would be OK for adults but we had grandchildren, and got tired of watching cartoons.

This home is beautiful and very comfortable to live in. We enjoyed our 2 weeks with side trips to various areas around Incline Village. The Lone Eagle Grill was one of our favorite places to have lunch and dinner.
