THE SPACE:
Welcome to our colorful home! Newly renovated within the last year, you will surely enjoy your stay in our colorful 2-bedroom/2-bedroom paradise! Our home has all of your comforts in mind and is the perfect launchpad for your Detroit adventures. Designed for your visual pleasure, with colors that will elevate your mood, vintage signs, and accessories, and Detroit-based artwork... you may not even want to leave! We offer a 50 inch smart TV for your viewing pleasure, a kitchen fully stocked with all basic cooking utensils, a dishwasher, a coffee maker, and two bathrooms with towels and bath products. Extra linens/pillows/blankets are of course available as well as an air mattress for extra guests. Guests enjoying longer stays will appreciate the in-unit washer/dryer, and we welcome you to stay connected with our 250 MB WiFi.

Important Noise Notice:

Please note that this unit is located directly above a bar. While many guests enjoy the vibrant atmosphere, noise can be heard during bar hours and may impact light sleepers. We provide earplugs and a white noise machine to help reduce disturbance. If you're sensitive to noise or prefer a quieter environment, this may not be the best fit.

THE AREA:
We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the unit or the complex itself. You can reach us through the Airbnb conversation thread, or you can speak to our 24/7 Guest Experience Department.

OCCUPANCY:
This unit allows 6 overnight guests (up to 8 total with fee/host’s approval. Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 8 people overnight the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.

PARKING:
There is parking directly in front and wide sidewalks that wind throughout the community. Please be aware that we cannot be held responsible for any theft, loss, or damage to vehicles or personal property while parked in these areas. Parking is at your own risk. We strongly advise securing your vehicle and refraining from leaving valuables inside.

GATHERINGS:
We know you are coming to Detroit to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict “No Party” policy.

SMOKING:
Smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit. There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your apartment during your reservation period.

MINIMUM AGE:
Guests named on the reservation must be 18 years or older. By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 18 or older and have the legal capacity and authority to enter into a contract. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.

CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT:
Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.

SECURITY:
For security reasons, there are audio/video recording cameras in the common areas of the building and outside of the building. There are no recording devices inside the unit.

Please note that any house rules violation will incur an additional $150 penalty charge.

Please note that we use a third-party cleaning service for our accommodations. As a result, we do not provide mid-stay cleanings. Thank you for your understanding!

Drug and Substance Policy

At Great Stays, we are committed to ensuring the safety and comfort of all our guests. To maintain a secure and enjoyable environment, we have established the following policy regarding drugs, alcohol, and tobacco:

1. Illegal Drugs:
Absolutely no illegal drugs are permitted in the unit or on the premises. Any evidence of illegal drug use or possession will be reported to the Online Travel Agency (OTA), the local
police, and may lead to immediate eviction without refund.

2. Legal Substances in Michigan:
In the state of Michigan, alcohol, marijuana, and tobacco are legal substances. However, their use on our property is subject to the following conditions:
* Alcohol: Guests may consume alcohol within the unit or on the premises, provided it is done responsibly and without disturbing other guests.
* Marijuana: Smoking or vaping marijuana is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Guests may only use marijuana in designated smoking areas on the property.
* Tobacco: Smoking or vaping tobacco is strictly prohibited inside the unit. Cigarettes may only be smoked in designated smoking areas on the property.

3. Non-Compliance:
Failure to comply with this policy will result in immediate action, which may include eviction, reporting to the OTA, and notification to local authorities.
