Pat was an excellent host! Communication was great and check-in was super easy. The property one of the best we experienced. The property is beach front in a cove along a peninsula. We were able to relax at the water's edge and enjoy nature. The living space was perfect for us to relax.

It was a treat seeing you enjoy kayaking here. Hope to see you again!
My husband and I had a wonderful time in West Bath on Pat’s property! What a magical little slice of heaven this stay is. It’s an incredible property with amazing bird watching on the point. We had a relaxing, joyful stay that was absolutely perfect. There is a lot to explore on all the fingers of MidCoast, Maine and this apartment was a perfect landing spot. We would go back in a heartbeat!
Pat was a fantastic host and her property is spectacular and one of a kind. We had a fantastic time exploring the coast, hiking, fishing, and relaxing on the picture perfect dock. Highly recommend!!

Mike- it was a pleasure to meet you and family. Glad you enjoyed your time here.
Hope to see you again one day soon.
Great location to explore mid coast Maine. Relaxing views of the water and lots of ospreys and eagles, out of the way but not isolated. Rooms were clean and had everything needed for a family. Host was very friendly and helpful.
We call this place “On Golden Pond”. Sitting on the andirondacks overlooking the water that was sun/ glittered we enjoyed watching the Ospreys and other water fowl dive for fish. Pat the host was just right! She was welcoming and helpful with local information. We felt we had the place to ourselves. The living space is very charming with a well appointed kitchen and the bed bed was comfortable. You will have your own balcony to sit and have your coffee. If you want peace and quiet, and the essence of Maine, this is your place. Also, the town of Bath is only 4 miles away and on the water. offers great little shops and eateries, boat tours and charm.

Hi Jill-
Happy to hear you enjoyed your time here - hope to see you one day soon.
This was a lovely visit to a very special place in Maine. Spectacular views, gardens, wildlife and peacefulness. Kayaking and swimming in the cove was special. Will come back often. The place was charming and clean.
We've stayed at a variety of properties all over coastal Maine from Kennebunk to Bar Harbor. This is the best place we've stayed without question. Feels very remote without being difficult to access, stunning scenery, kayaking, hiking close by, great host.

Pat couldn't have been nicer or more welcoming. The spot is gorgeous, on a point overlooking a stretch of water, with
birds providing the soundtrack and the entertainment. Highly recommend.
We had a lovely stay. The apartment is located in a spectacular setting attached to the main house. While we spent much of our time working, there is much to do in the area and the outdoor area, weather permitting, provides lots of places to lounge and take in the ocean, trees and animals. Super relaxing. The host, who lives in the main house, is kind and helpful!

The place was cute, quaint and just what we needed to unwind for a few days! Pat the host was super nice and accommodating throughout the entire process. We were there for the Thomas Point Bluegrass Festival and the property was only minutes away. We saw seals playing in the bay, eagles among other wildlife. What a treat! We hope to be able to stay at this spot again soon!
The efficiency apartment was well located with access to the water on three points and filtered views of the water. While the bathroom is small, the space allows for complete privacy. Pat, the owner is most gracious and accommodating but respectful of your privacy. Great location with easy access to Bath, Brunswick, Popham Beach, and the Botanical Gardens. We also enjoyed just relaxing at the property.

Quintessential Maine property. Pat’s home is absolutely beautiful. It’s conveniently located close to lots of activities to do (museums, beaches, restaurants, shopping, etc.) She is a very lovely host. Non-intrusive and very responsive when needed. She gave great suggestions on things to do. We had a very relaxing and peaceful stay and appreciate having been able to share Pat’s home so we could enjoy the Maine coast.

Glad you enjoyed the area and hope to see you again!
Pat the owner is the host to beat all hosts. She went out of her way to make sure we had the best most comfortable stay possible. From wildflowers in the apartment to boat trips for lobster. All this and one of the Maine coasts prettiest water views where we swam and kayaked. Back home, we don’t just miss being there, we miss Pat! ;-(

This is a beautiful property that feels secluded yet is just a short drive to Bath and Brunswick. Wonderful views of ocean coves. Lots of eagles and ospreys. Kayaking was great when tides and wind allowed.
We were there during the July heat wave and because only the bedroom has AC the main room in the apartment got quite warm during the day. Much cooler down by the water and in the evenings.

Hello Jim-
It was a treat meeting you two and I hope to see you again. Your kayaking around the islands and coves looked fantastic!
Having been to Maine before (moving around to multiple B&Bs), this trip and wonderful property allowed us to "home base" from a beautiful location. The Host is very accommodating and knowledgeable. It is just minutes from anything you need yet once on this tidal slice of heaven, you feel removed from the world. We feel so fortunate to have spent several weeks on this secluded spot and to have met the owner. A true and quintessential Maine experience...

Thank you so much! It was a delight to hear about your various day trips and watch Moe and Gabby zoom around the fields. Hope to see you one day soon with children and grandchildren.
We lucked out that there was a cancellation so we were able to book last minute when our original plans fell through. On a holiday weekend Pat still responded right away. It was the perfect place to be with a dog who loves to run and swim during the summer when many beaches don’t allow dogs. We are so grateful to Pat who is a great host. She was on property to give recommendations, if we needed anything and we chatted at check in/out otherwise it was very quiet. The space is chill, clean, with a very comfortable bed, and we had everything we needed to cook there. A few local highlights: Schutty’s for lobster rolls (go onion rings over fries), Solo Pane e Pasticceria for pastries and coffee, Brunswick farmers market for produce and amazing pizza from Atata woodfire pizza there.

A cute studio apartment on a private peninsula
I loved my week in Maine. The apartment was perfect for the two of us. I was looking to "get off the grid" and this wonderful location fit the bill. I loved the quiet seclusion of this property. I actually teared up when I drove up to the house and saw the setting and the view of the ocean. I enjoyed watching the tide go in & out. I liked how close it was to nearby points of interest. Pat was very accommodating. I hope to return!

The apartment was spacious and light-filled yet with a cozy feel, very comfortable bed and chairs, and all the implements we needed. Sitting on the porch in the morning was delightful as was waking up to the sun through the large windows in the bedroom. The property is very spacious with many comfortable places to sit and amazing views out over the bay. It was tempting to just sit in the hammock and read while occasionally looking up to take in the beauty of it all. Pat was a wonderful host and gave us recommendations that turned out really well. We enjoyed everything about our trip--the planned and unplanned parts--and choosing this location with Pat as the host made that possible.

Hello Tony-
It was a pleasure having you here and I'm thrilled when renters enjoy their visit to this wonderful state. Hope to see you two again.
What a wonderful getaway! The apartment was perfectly clean and the property is stunning. The bay views are so peaceful and wildlife is everywhere. We saw so many deer while we were there!
Pat is an absolutely fabulous host. She was wonderful to chat to and even took pictures of us playing in the yard with our daughter. She was on top of it when we needed something but was also happy to give us privacy. We even had a little accident with a soda can chipping the pine floor and she was great about it. We offered to pay for the fix but she wouldn’t hear of it!
The location is out of the way but close enough to downtown Bath and Brunswick that there’s plenty to do. A trip to Boothbay Harbor or Freeport is easy and quick!
If you’re thinking about booking, stop — just do it! You’ll have a wonderful time.

A tranquil gem on a beautiful, quiet cove
This place was heavenly. Walking down to the point with coffee in the morning, listening to the shore birds and watching the tide ebb, was restorative and relaxing. Our family of 4 kayaked and swam in the cove (rented kayaks from Seaspray and had them delivered), went hiking in the Hamilton Audubon Preserve across the cove, watched seals pop up just off the dock at high tide, and read books in the hammock and the Adirondack chairs. We made dinner each night (except one, when we went to a great restaurant in Bath called No Coward Soul). The guest unit's kitchen is small but well-appointed. We used the outdoor grill and ate at the elegant cedar table on the grassy terrace next to the blooming roses in the garden. A lush sweep of lawn overlooks the water, and you feel like you're on a small estate. Pat is a wonderful host - warm and down-to-earth, not obtrusive but so, so helpful and kind. The guest unit is spotless and home-like. Best sleep ever. Would return again in a heartbeat.

It was a treat to meet you and your family. Thrilled you had such a wonderful vacation.
Our short stay with our 2 boys (10 & 12) and our dog was nothing short of amazing. I grew up spending summers in Maine, just a few miles up the road, and it felt like I was able to recapture some of those memories and make new ones with my family. The property on the edge of the water alongside the dock were great for just sitting around...and great for striper fishing. My family and I caught 9 nice fish on the incoming tide, just a couple of hours before the given time for high tide that day. We grabbed a few keepers on bloodworms, but we threw them all back for the next family to catch. The home is less than an hour from a number of awesome destinations. Finally, Pat couldn't have been more accommodating. She really went out of her way to make us feel at home, and our dog was especially fond of her. She was just a text message away and was able to provide a number of recommendations for places to visit, grab a bite to eat, or markets to pick up some fresh seafood to cook at the house. We would definitely go back, just for the striper fishing alone!
