A sense of home
First time ever staying by myself while traveling and there was not a moment where I didn’t feel like I was at home. The place and the owners were exceptional and I will definitely stay again!

Beautiful house
Love the house. Was very comfortable and location was great for us. It was literally right around the corner from my grandmothers house!

Quiet, small, good location
My family of 5 (including 15, 12, and 8 year old) stayed for 2 nights. It was located in a decent location, easy to access the attractions. It was small. The floors were super unlevel from room to room so you had to be careful not to lose your balance. The kitchen was too small to cook a meal in and the dining table only accommodated 2 people. (Yes, I know the pictures showed these areas, but to actually see in person they were much smaller than expected). They did have tv trays but it still needed more dining space. So with the small kitchen and dining space we opted to eat out instead of cooking. The bedrooms were fine, no real issues, just not the most comfortable master bed. Board games were provided and my kids enjoyed playing several of those. We booked the house for 3 nights but opted to leave a day early since we had seen all the sights in the area. I would recommend for someone that is looking for a place to sleep while visiting the area and not hang out and cook meals. Again, great location to attractions, and nice quiet neighborhood with plenty of room.

4/10 Poor

Dirty
Our stay was unsatisfactory. The house overall wasn’t clean. There was a spatula in the kitchen canister COVERED in food (never even rinsed), someone else’s used mascara bottle in the couch cushion, large hair balls on the living room floor, the supplies games were all mixed up and mostly missing pieces to play them. The sheets smelled fresh so I do believe the laundry was fresh but otherwise hardly touched in between guests. The welcome book said there would be bottles of water and snacks, which there was none and coffee which is pretty standard for hosts to have, but the canister was completely empty. Bedroom light flickered from the start which wasn’t a huge deal, just another small thing that I personally felt added to the feel of the house being uncared for. There was permanent marker writing on the white doors that looked like maybe tried to get cleaned up or repainted over but still showed. I contacted the host once about a handful of these things (coffee, unclean kitchen and light flickering) and he just said sorry he doesn’t live in the area but would let the maintenance person know. We went out and bought disposable silverware and plates as we didn’t feel comfortable using the dishes without hand washing them all first after seeing utensils not even rinsed. We also had to go out and buy coffee and drinking water during our stay, coffee should definitely be supplied. The host was quick to respond but wasn’t happy with the home at all and would not stay here again.

Nice house for quick trip
This is a nice little house for a night or two. Sleeps 6 but not enough comfy seating in living room for all. A table for at least 4 would be great too. TV trays is nice touch. All beds were comfy. Lots of stairs going into house but obvious in pics but people may not notice.
