If you desire peace and tranquility with a beachfront location and nearby amenities on your upcoming visit to Malibu, look no further!

We are a hidden gem on the one-mile shoreline of Carbon Beach, affectionately described by the locals as “Billionaire’s Beach” … home to many celebrities. What makes this a highly sought-after vacation rental? Location, location, location! Our beachfront units have unobstructed panoramic ocean views of Catalina Island and The Queens Necklace; coastline views of the Santa Monica Bay to the north and down to Palos Verdes look like a “necklace of lights” in the evening. We are just yards from the famous Surfrider Beach, Malibu Pier, the Adamson House and a range of restaurants, modestly priced to exclusive, including Nobu. We are also close to three contiguous outdoor shopping marts with Whole Foods, Starbucks, world class retail shopping, additional restaurants, yoga, fitness and meditation studios. Nearby there are hiking and biking trails, surf lessons and paddle board rentals.

This 1-bedroom oceanfront unit, decorated shabby beach chic, sleeps 4 and features expansive ocean views from the living room and kitchen. A large private deck sits above the sand so you can sip coffee at sunrise or cocktails at sunset. The beach is steps away from the door of your vacation rental, for hours of play and sun. There are hardwood floors throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped and accented with stainless steel appliances and granite counters.

The rental has 1 bedroom with a queen size bed and HD flat screen TV, the living room has a large sleeper sofa, HD flat screen TV and stereo with ipod connection.
Amenities include, WiFi, linens, towels, beach chairs, coffee maker, microwave and gas barbecue. There are laundry facilities on site for your convenience. Included with the rental is a one car garage and parking for an extra car. In addition, the property is gated for extra privacy.

We are pet friendly and there is a pet fee.

This unit was exactly what we needed for a graduation weekend. The kitchen was well stocked with some starter coffee and although we ate most meals out, we could easily have cooked. Being right on the ocean was a plus; falling asleep to the sound of waves was marvelous. The instructions for finding the place were spot on and we had no troubles at all. Would stay there again.

Perfect little get away spot. The beach is literally right underneath you. Amazing. Amazing views, kind neighbors, nice neighborhood. The place itself was great. Was greeting by lots of ducks under the balcony. The parking is a HUGE PLUS, Private gate entry and your own garage! Super plus. Very private. Walk out of the front door and just a few steps to the sand on a secluded private beach area. Definitely worth it. To everyone complaining about noise… yeah the ocean is underneath you, what do you expect? all you need is right there, paradise in a condo. Would definitely stay here again.

Great view and location. The manager/cleaning people were so nice. It felt so safe too! There was an aunt and spider issue. We saw multiple spiders that resembled black widows and there were ants everywhere. I found some in the bed, all over the counters, and crawling pretty much everywhere. Within a day I had one or two in everything, my purse and luggage. So that was a bit annoying. Everything else was great.

We had a wonderful stay at the sandpiper! It is a beautiful little cottage right on the beach! Views were stunning. It was a really nice relaxing place to stay while I recovered from neck surgery! I would love to come back and stay again for a little getaway with my husband minus the surgery!

The property manager is informative on the front end, responsive, and helpful - which of course is great. However, this property has seen better days. It just needs a renovation badly, in the bathroom especially, and overall seemed dirty. There were ants in a couple of locations in the property, the bathtub was peeling and had a mildewy mat, and the outdoor cushions were the same. I am sure it is hard for things not to get sticky and/or rusty given the ocean proximity, but it did not feel relaxing due to these issues. The location is great in relation to the Country Mart and pier, however between the road noise and waves directly beneath the balcony - ear plugs would have been helpful. The garage and parking situation is great, as is the easy entry to the property. This is a value property by Malibu standards so just know what you are signing up for.

We loved our stay at this property to celebrate a birthday on the water. The apartment was clean and well appointed with a beautiful view over the ocean. We brought our own food and the kitchen was fully equipped. The managers were welcoming and responsive though we had no issues while there. The end of the pier was still closed during this visit but otherwise we had a great stay, including visiting the grounds of nearby Adamson House nearby. We will definitely hope to stay here again in the future.

This was the cutest little apartment! From the moment we walked in and felt the fresh breeze and saw the stunning ocean ooohhhh lala. We come down to work with the fire survivors doing therapy groups so after our sessions it was so relaxing to come back and sit on the balcony and hear the ocean waves. It’s an old complex but it’s very clean and has everything you need. Angel the maintenance gentleman was super friendly and helpful. We are coming down and staying again in June. I did feel the earthquake at 5:21 am it was a 3.0 on the grapevine but just a small shake. Oh we also saw a whale, dolphins, and sea lions - thank you for the magnificent stay. We felt so blessed!

The location and view were absolutely gorgeous! That was the biggest pro. Unit was clean and fairly comfortable though the shower could use some TLC. Only downside was the street noise of PCH from the bedroom. It would get pretty warm with the window shut but really loud with it open. The garage is tiny, but it was nice to have an available spot and an extra tandem spot behind it! There were beach chairs available for us in the garage and nice beach towels in the unit for use as well, and the pullout sofa was pretty comfortable! Overall, a beautiful spot!! not the most modern or updated if that’s what you’re looking for, it’s a bit quirky with older furniture, but we enjoyed every moment there. The walk down to the beach is just a few steps away around the corner and down some steps, but you need to watch the tide as when it is high, it comes right up to the bottom/underneath the unit at times and there is no walking path below.

I stayed here with my family for our annual girls trip and it was wonderful! The gentleman that welcomed us was super nice, and the location and view - beautiful! Everything was fresh and clean.
