A few days in Glyfada

We absolutely loved our time here!! What an AMAZING place - just beautiful and only two blocks from the beach. Right across the street from the most charming french bakery too. Definitely would stay here again!

Great location

We were in Glyfada for a family wedding. Pros- The location was perfect for our needs and there were many restaurants and shops in the area which was great. The beach was only a couple blocks away. Easy to get an Uber right out front and train stop was close (didn’t use). Beds pretty comfortable, appreciated pods left for nespresso and bottled water. Plenty of glasses and kitchen items. Cons- better bedroom window curtains needed- very bright early in the morning. Both bathrooms and showers were not cleaned well (have pictures). Replace the hairdryer and sharp kitchen knives (broken). Main room AC unit broke while we were there and was partially resolved but service never showed to fully resolve. Biggest issue was lack of communication. Question sent upon booking wasn’t responded to for 3wks (had to ask again). Didn’t realize beach towels were available upon request and had bought some beach items already. Was charged an extra person fee even though the listing states accommodates 6 people. We only had a max of 5 people and that was only for 1/2 of our stay. I asked about this on check in and was told it was a VRBO fee. I asked again after check out and was given several responses that did not make sense. When I continued to press, they just stopped communicating with me. Beware, the extra person fee is mentioned on the listing and seems they apply it at their discretion- even if you don’t exceed the accommodation limit.
