Overall wonderful stay. A little far from restaurants but well equipped for cooking your favorites. Beautiful natural setting. We saw deer wild turkeys toads frogs turtles and chipmunks. Lots of fun things for families to do, or plenty of peace and quiet. Our hosts were very friendly and accommodating.
We had a nice time at the cabin. It was spacious and clean. We were there during a snow storm and enjoyed the natural beauty of the area. The game room was great for the kids.

Extraordinary place
Our stay was very good and very cozy aand peaceful place highly recommended
3rd year staying here, my wife and i absolutely love this place, we had different friends and family come spend the weekend with us there, everyone loves it. Likely to comtinue our yearly visits for a long time to come.
Me and a buddy needed a place to stay close to Hemlock lake that we planned to fish for the first time. this cabin was perfect. close by and quiet, very clean and a big deck to hang out on and tied new riggs for the next day. Would definitely stay here again
Well-kept and well equipped, we had everything we needed (except a brownie pan which we bought and left). Our host John provided additional information before and during our stay. Complete privacy. Even our dog loved this place! We would highly recommend.

So beautiful!!
We had so much fun and such a relaxing time at John & Gina’s cabin. Cannot think of a thing we needed, plenty of land to explore and a beautiful, picturesque cabin. It was a bit chilly when we were there and the hosts were thoughtful enough to have a fire going already when we arrived. Can’t wait to come back.
The place was gorgeous. Secluded, calm, very big.
It was very well equipped to cook, bathroom and rooms.
Very easy check in / check out. Good communication with owners.
My son thrilled playing in the property pond. Beautiful view and very calm place to enjoy a coffee outside in the morning.
Would repeat!
We were in town for a wedding and didn't want to leave our dog behind. I knew she would love to run the wide open property, and she certainly did a lot of that. It was a perfect fit for us. The listing is accurate and the cabin was super clean. I would definitely book this property again if I'm up in the area. Many thanks John!
Spent time with my family for 3 nights. Host was quick to respond to any issues or questions that arose. Cabin was clean and cozy. Property is spacious and secluded. We will be back!!

Exactly as expected!
This cabin was exactly as described and just what we expected. The property, while a bit muddy, was beautiful and quiet and peaceful. The inside had everything we needed and it really felt like home as opposed to just a rental. Communication was awesome and we couldn’t have asked for more.
We loved this property rental! The house was great, owners were so easy to deal with, lots of property to explore, and our dog was allowed to come! We thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet of the area-aside from some birds/animals, we didn't hear a peep all day or night. We enjoyed the fire pit, pond, star gazing at night, and coffee on the big deck each morning. There were several trails in Canadaice and Honeoye that we checked out. And we got to hit a bunch of breweries and wineries in several towns close by. So fun and we hope to come back again soon!
There was tons to do. The wood burning stove was my favorite. Our kids loves the loft and game room. We all enjoyed hiking the property. We skied at Bristol. That was about 20 minutes away. One of the most beautiful properties I’ve ever seen. Made us all very happy to stay there. Nostalgic feels. They were kind, had us fully stocked on wood. Tons of space inside and every window had incredible views. I would bring extra blankets next time. Loved the kitchen and cozy leather chair. Will most likely stay in summer to kayak. I’m so happy it was affordable. Thank you!
It was our first time visiting Springwater & the cabin was very easy to find. It exceeded our expectations to the fullest. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the owner John who was extremely friendly & welcoming. Inside was so beautiful & made us feel at home. We especially loved the loft up top. We also were really impressed with the variety of games & puzzles. Right outside of the cabin, there were amazing scenic views & woods to hike through. We really loved the fireplace in the back as well. The owner John owns a kayaking company & we were able to kayak through Canadice Lake. He even allowed us to leave our dog in his home while we went out to kayak. The cabin was also only a 20 minute drive from Grimes Glen, a very known waterfall in Naples, NY. Overall, this was such an unforgettable experience. We really loved the place & are looking forward to visiting again within the next couple of weeks. Definitely recommend this place!

Beautiful property, cozy house, beds/bedding are subpar
Pros: We had a lovely experience at the cabin, enjoyed the property as best we could over a rainy weekend. The living/kitchen area is very cozy, and we loved being able to use the wood stove to warm up. I loved being able to bring my dog, she had such a fun time running around the yard and even went into the pond. Cons: The red room has an almost unbearable musky/mold smell. All three beds were very uncomfortable, and the bedding provided was very thin/not enough. I opted to sleep on one of the futons the second night, as it was more comfortable than the mattress. There were no extra blankets anywhere in the house, and it was chilly in the evening, luckily we had some of our own to use when lounging on the couch. We did not use the game room, but did check it out, and it seemed very dated/run down. Overall, I would love to come back to this cabin and enjoy it again but unfortunately the bedding situation might overpower the pros of the rest of the experience. It's really unfortunate because a little investment in that would go a long way. I would recommend this property to others with the caveat that the red room may cause mold allergies/dont use it and to make sure you bring extra bedding with you if you like to be more comfortable sleeping.
When arriving on the property, the owner was there, with another canine, and proceeded to stay on the property to apparently cut wood!!! After driving for more then 2 hours, we did not need a hour long chat session, but apparently that was "part of the deal". We wanted to unpack and get comfortable, not spend time talking about the property. That was the first problem. After he finally left we were able to unpack. Unfortunetely we were there for 4 1/2 days, which by no one's fault rained all day and night Saturday. The yard was a total mudpit. The whole property was a mudpit. Walking to the vehicles was like being at the Rooney Fest, nothing but mud. The worst part of the stay, and I should have realized it before I booked this property, was there is a washer and dryer there, but the guests are not allowed to use it!!!! Unreal. This was the 5th house we stayed at this year, only one with no access to a washing machine. Then the owner had the odasity to write and see he had to spend time cleaning some mud off a pillow!!!! He didn't clean anything, the washer did the work, the washer we were not entitled to use! Thank god we brought enough clothes for the weekend. The cabin is very isolated, the road leading to it, kinda scary. Very unkempt properties line the road, to the point you want to keep the windows locked at night. Enjoy!!
