Cozy cabin and airstream set at a beautiful relaxing site on the river. Everything that was needed was there, beds were comfy, short drive to town … thoroughly enjoyed
This was the perfect place for a few days away. This place was very clean and the perfect size for my wife and I. We also really enjoyed the location, just outside of town and quiet. We loved the little touches everywhere, including the peanut M&M jar. 😊
We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Waco.
Very cozy and adorable!!!! Love the decor and outside space!!! Close enough for doordash!!!!!!!! We had an absolutely amazing time would highly recommend!!!!!
The outdoor areas were beautiful. I loved all the outdoor seating and the fireplace. The listing should be updated to reflect that you really can't fish from the property. The airstream exceeded expectations and is such a great addition to the rental.Overall, the property was very clean and the communication when questions arose was excellent. My only constructive feedback is that we were not made aware that the outdoor bathroom would not be accessible. It would have been helpful to know that as we were expecting that to be in working order. In addition, we had to go out and buy coffee as there was not enough for a 2 night stay. I also think an upgrade of linens and pillows would go a long way in improving the comfort of the beds. There were not enough pillows top accomodate the pull out sofa being used but fortunately we brough our own.I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.
This cabin and air stream are super cute. The neighborhood is nice and quiet and the neighbors we meet were all friendly. Quick drive into Waco for fun activities, visiting with family and good places to eat. We will definitely be back.
Only part I didn’t like is there’s no place to fish it’s kinda deceiving in the pictures. When you get upTo the river there’s no clearing there’s a ton a branches right at the waters edge.
We were notified 30 minutes before check in that we would not be able to stay at the property due to a storm that had pass thru. the night before. we were left scrambling to find another place to stay.

Response from VrboOwner on 7 June 2024
Due to safety reasons, this reservation was cancelled. We were notified by the sheriff that the road was closed due to flooding and that the river was rising rapidly. The guest was offered an alternate location.
Our stay was wonderful overall. 2 small issues to mention just for future guests: 1 being there are several cameras around the property. Understandable for owner to have constant survellience for anything while guests are not there. Would like to know if they were running while we were there for privacy concerns. 2: Requested and paid for early check in, received email that check in info would be provided after requested time. Had to contact property manager to sort it out and receive check in info on time.
Again overall stay was nice, quiet and cozy. Did not utilize airstream trailer but will definitely be booking with this property again in the future.
This is great for something different. It was hard to fish because of mud and there were cobwebs in all the corners of the airstream. When checking out, I spent an hour trying to figure out how to get the laundry going. It was much back and forth through texts, me sending photos and videos, wrong codes and a wrong key. It was very much a hassle in our last hour while trying to pack up and be sure we were checked out by 11am. Needless to say we never got in the laundry room. I hope going forward the checkout instructions are more clear. We were also told to load the dishwasher however there is not one. I think if they clean a little better and clarify the check out, this spot would be ideal
Very cute and cozy cabin right on the Brazos. If you are intending to go fishing, keep this in mind…. The yard drops off very steep to the river bank. The river is really not accessible to go fishing or swimming. There is not a pathway or steps to get down to the river. Fishing was out of the question. I was disappointed because I rented the cabin just to go fishing. Other than that the cabin and Areostream trailer were very comfortable and the property is decorated so cute. Also if you are bringing a pet, the fenced yard is gravel and very very small. The grass part is not fenced and very dark at night so if not careful you or your pet could fall off the drop off to the river if you don’t pay attention.
There is a big deck with seating and outdoor speakers to hang out on and BBQ pits to cook.
Cozy cabin and airstream is right on track for this rental. Another title might be two for the price of one (at least for us). We got both units together as we (couple) were traveling with a friend. We did spend a couple nights in a hotel and separate quarters was better for sleep, privacy and restroom availability. The grounds were rustic with spacious front yard and retreat like backyard overlooking the river (pretty close) with a picnic tables, BBQ, and possibly hammock in summer. The location while outside the city was an easy 15–20-minute drive to the Magnolia Properties. Both cabin and airstream were well furnished, with the cabin having full cooking facilities and multiple tv’s, one living room/kitchen and one in the bed room. The airstream had a smaller tv but was fairly spacious with a soaking tub and comfortable bed. Roomier than what I had anticipated. But the joy of the airstream was the collection of eclectic and whimsical art pieces. Truly the host must have been an artist at heart. I normally like staying in modern hotels, but this was a great change of pace experience. The host was super responsive answer all questions timely. She provided wine and nice goodies to welcome guest.
Our family stayed here for an extended weekend. The location was perfect for us. We loved the views of the Brazos. Everything was clean and good working order. We did have a difficult time getting into the camper/trailer, but a phone call to VRBo and then the owner remedied that. We had a really good experience!
Enjoyed our time here!! Everything described is exactly like listed. We tremendously enjoyed our stay and want to go back. Love the view, the shower, the Airstream decor, the cabin decor, etc.... makes me wish it was mine!
Sometimes pictures are deceiving but this cabin and Airstream were even better than the pics. Both were adorable and the location was great for us. We didn't want to be in the middle of town (AND we saw a bald eagle on the river!) We only stayed three days but could really have stayed longer and enjoyed Waco and the property more. Thank you for a delighful birthday trip!!!
We were in Waco to attend orientation at Baylor for my son and the rented both the cabin and airstream. The location was great only about 12-15 minutes to drive to everything. Both the cabin and airstream were perfect; loved the decor, we had goodies, comfy beds, games, cold air, quite area and the outdoor shower was my sons favorite! Will definitely go back!
Fun little cabin on the river about 15 mins outside of Waco. Stayed with a couple girlfriends for a mini-reunion in lieu of camping, so we got the outdoorsy vibes and option to sit outside, but could retreat to the ac when it got too hot or the bugs got hungry.
I don’t feel like the listing made it clear there wasn’t swimming allowed in the river. We brought our inflatable paddle boards with us, and one of the reasons in particular I booked this cabin, was because I didn’t see swimming restrictions, but once we got to the cabin there were multiple signs that said “no swimming.”
The main bed was pretty comfortable, the sofa bed felt like a sofa bed, despite having a memory foam mattress.
I’m fairly certain Moaning Myrtle* may have taken up residency in the toilet as she moans every time you flush (*Harry Potter reference for those who don’t know). Either that, or a pack if whiney dolphins. The jury is still out on that one.
Nice touches like snacks and even a bottle of wine. Decently well stocked kitchen (needs oil) and no dishwasher so you gotta wash everything by hand. Also for the amount of cleaning you have to do on your own (hand wash dishes, start the laundry) I don’t really get why it’s $90 extra. Seems like it should be $50 at most.
Also glad no one was renting the airstream right next door or things wouldn’t have been as private.
