We stayed at Betty B's River House for 4 nights. It was perfect for the three of us. During the days, we went to various state parks. But at night and in the morning it was cozy and just right for us. The property was clean and although the kitchen was small, it had a microwave, coffee maker, and small fridge which was all we needed.
This was our 2nd time staying at Betty B’s. We were there for the Hill Country Trail Ride. Our stay was very pleasant…planning on staying there next year.

We enjoyed our time at Betty B's. We found it very relaxing and quaint.
We enjoyed staying for the weekend. The location was perfect for us and what we wanted to do in Blanco. The treehouse is a nice touch and my daughter enjoyed the snacks too.
Cozy cottage style home, plenty of wildlife to see. Loved the proximity to the river and was able to swim multiple times as well as visit many State parks in the surrounding areas.

Very relaxing spot. Enjoyed that the house was built in the 1920s but had all the upgrades you need for modern living.
We were in town for the weekend and this house was perfect! Close to everything we needed, great view of the Blanco River and very comfortable! We loved sitting in the rocking chairs on the covered porch while drinking our morning coffee. We will use it again next time we come visit family in Blanco.
We loved the house so so much. We had such a great time in there. The location was perfect. We ate dinner on the tree house one night watching the Blanco river. We made fire in the huge back yard. It was the perfect little place.

Comfortable house near the park
This place is a great getaway. It's within walking distance of Blanco State Park. For a daytime excursion, we went to Pedernales which wasn't far either. The porch is perfect for hanging out, reading, and playing card games. There's even Jenga and cornhole at this place. This was our second visit there.

Great amenities!
Super great place! Cute, clean, across from the state park, and they offer a lot of extras like snacks, hot chocolate, various Keurig coffee flavors, games to play in the house, outdoor games, and a fire pit. They were very responsive to questions. Each living area has own AC/heating unit with a remote and ceiling fans. Extra bedding also provided. They also provide a book of details about the house and the area! Also have a reasonable check out procedure. Great place!

Peaceful and views beautiful.
I have loved visiting Blanco since 1995. A friend and I needed a break from Austin traffic and noise. We chose the River house for location. Across the road is Blanco State Park. The trees are gorgeous, very old live oaks, figs and pecan. The front porch has large comfy rocking chairs. We spent evenings listening to the wind blow and waved at everyone that drove by. The deertucked us in and woke up with us. The 1920's house has original oak floors. The icemaker kept us in cool drinks and coffee/ and tea greeted us in the early morning. The Redbud cafe still has the best Reuben Sandwich ever. Buchanan's Coffee House is delightful. Really good Chai and Lemon Danish fresh daily. Dinner two nights at Uptown Blanco Restaurant. Excellent service, fabulous food, and ambiance. This has become our favorite place for a quick break. We will be back.
We needed a place to stay to watch our grandson play in SCAC golf tournament at Vaaler Creek. Our daughter and granddaughter joined us for this event. This was very close to the golf course as we had to make trips back and forth to the course.
The place was very clean and had everything we needed. While there was only one bathroom, we did manage ok.
We would recommend this place for those looking for a somewhat rustic getaway to the high country. Terry and Carole

Perfect
House was cute and very clean. The beds were very comfortable and in a great location.
Our family was here for a weekend getaway/vacation. We planned on meeting up with our family at Blanco State Park to swim for the day. Make sure to reserve your day pass if you want to be able to get into the river. This place is so cute. So many neat things that make this so enjoyable. Our girls loved the treehouse area. We used the fire pit outside for
marshmallow roasting. There were two bedrooms, one with a large queen bed and it has a chair that folds out into a twin-size cot. The other bedroom has two twin beds. There’s also a futon in the living area. There are two small mini-fridges, so bring an ice chest as a back- up. There is a gas grill out back, a cook-top, microwave, and some other appliances (crockpot, blender, toaster oven, blow dryer). I cannot believe how perfect this place was.
Our little family loved our short stay at Betty B's. The cozy house was well appointed and comfortable and the location of the house was super convenient to points of interest in Blanco and elsewhere. The booking and check-in process via Evolve couldn't have been easier and Amy was accessible and attentive for anything we might've needed.
By far, our favorite part was the rocking chairs out on the porch overlooking the river. Even though it rained for a large part of our stay, the covered front porch was the perfect spot to slow down and enjoy the view--rain be darned! We'll be back for sure!

Very nice and clean small home sitting just a few hundred yards from the Blanco river. Property was maintained well and some nice upgrades made to an older home. A/C units work very well and has a nice large tv with internet connection. Keurig coffee maker and a couple of small (college style) fridges. We didn’t cook at all but there was a small two burner flat top.
Treehouse was a huge hit with our group. There is minimal access to the river directly unless you drive a bit or go into the State Park.

Great
Good place quiet place to stay. This unit has everything you need for a family. Good food within walking distance. This will be my go to location.
The house was very charming and in a great location. We spent the morning at Blanco State Park and enjoyed being so close that it was just a short walk to the cottage. The porch was nice to watch the storm that came through and play games. Perfect weekend getaway.
Loved this sweet little country home. Enjoyed the large front porch and tree house. The location was perfect and centered evenly between many other small towns to visit. Great for a short visit. But a little difficult if you are going to stay for more than a week. There are two dorm sized refrigerators and a two burner stove with no oven.
