Charming home in Sierra Nevada Foothills

Escape from the city, relax and enjoy the beauty of Sierra Nevada nature in quiet and peaceful atmosphere. Air is fresh and stars are definitely brighter here. We are easy to access from I-80. Lakes, hiking trails are nearby. Come and see and imagine all the memories just waiting to be made!
Our 4 bedroom house has everything you need. If you have any requests please don't hesitate to contact us.
Master bedroom: king bed, attached bathroom and glass door access to the deck.
Bedroom #2: Queen bed
Kids bedroom: Bunk bed (twin over full)
Kids play room: sofa bed with access to the side deck
Outside 7 person Jacuzzi
You may use entire house and backyard except closets where we keep our personal belongings. Also garage is closed for short stay
We are kids friendly and will provide a crib or portable pack and play if needed. Also there are lot of toys, kids books and games.

Foresthill is a small gold era town with plenty of outdoor activities (hiking, biking, fishing, white water rafting) and popular wedding venues. 5 restaurants and grocery store are located just 5 min away.

This well-loved home is in a very pretty, wooded setting and is very quiet - just what we were looking for. Host was super thoughtful and very communicative. Lots of opportunity to just hang out and spend time together as a family.

Every convenience to make you feel as though you’re temporarily in your own home but with a different view. The kitchen even has a professional espresso machine!! Sparkling clean & very comfortable.

Weekend family get together

Beautiful setting located in Foresthill. Nic was really great to deal, a very welcoming host. The house was very clean, spacious & includes T.V, & wi-fi. Also a bonus play room with plenty of toys to keep our children busy. The house really makes you feel at home. Myself and family would definitely stay there again the next time we have a weekend getaway together.

Fantastic stay in the Foothills!

We had a great stay at Nick's property in the Foothills outside of Auburn. The house is so cozy and stocked with everything you need. Hot tub is clean and inviting. Nick was a gem! Great local advice and friendly communication. Would definitely return.

Last minute accommodations

My husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to the snow and, luckily, this home was available. Nick got the house in order quickly and even had a fire roaring when we arrived. The home was extremely clean, kitchen well stocked, great hot tub, and the bed was super comfortable. I would recommend a new sofa in the living room for larger groups, as the one in there now only sits 3 people. We did enjoy our stay and appreciate Nick making these last minute accommodations for us!

Great for kids

Nick was very generous and available to answer any questions about the property. I brought my 4 year old kids and they absolutely loved the backyard swing set, fish tank and toy room. The property is close enough to beautiful reservoir for swimming and hiking. The master bed was very comfortable.

Why they chose this property

I fell in love with Foresthill in 2018 and in just 3 month we bought our first property here. I don't know if I would ever go back to live in big city again. Spending some time in Foresthill will give you a possibility to reenergize and have a great time. The surrounding area has an endless outdoor activities for everyone. If you are not an outdoor fan you can soak in our hot tub or enjoy a wildlife from the swing. Local bars and restaurants are just 5 minutes away and will bring you into atmosphere of small gold era town.

What makes this property unique

House is located in a wooded area, it's very quiet and peaceful here. We are away from the cars, crowds and other attributes of a concrete jungle. Away but can we easily accessed all year round. 1 hour away from Sacramento and 2.5 hours away from SF/Bay area. 4 wheel drive is not needed, even in winter.
