Custom home sleeps 10, 5 bedrooms 3 full baths , BBQ .pitch tent outdoors for kids near lakes and rivers ,5 minutes from wedding venues,,great hiking and cycling,fishing , motorcycle trails .parks and much more so many outdoor activities ., pool table 36 ft high entry ceiling custom built. Jacuzzi in master suit, .6shower heads in master shower, internet . walking distance to wortons supermarket .(hot tub on deck will not be available. )!!!!!!Downstairs there’s a master bathroom with king bed , 2 bedroom has queen bed , den has queen bed and 2 twin beds , upstairs there’s 2 bedrooms with queen beds propane fireplace not working but wood burning stove is available please bring your own wood , direction from highway 80 just take Foresthill exit and go south you will cross a big bridge , (pictures) then go up hill about 17 miles make a left turn immediately after passing Wortons supermarket , Dishwasher has been replaced with new one , upon checkout please load dishwasher and turn on , strip used beds and place in laundry room , put all garbage in trash bin outside pick up for trash is Monday morning early so if your checking out Monday afternoon please put garbage can in front of street

Family Wedding

The home was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of space and bedrooms on the lower level was a plus for us. Host was helpful and communication was great.

Review- [ ] The place needs a thorough deep clean by professionals- [ ] No hot water in downstairs main bath faucet- [ ] No wash cloths- [ ] Stained towels- [ ] Human hairballs under the big sofa and in some bathrooms - [ ] Stained and dingy living room sofa- [ ] Kitchen floors are so dirty you couldn’t go barefoot without getting them filthy- [ ] The caulking around the bathtub showers is black- [ ] No gas in the propane tank for the advertised grill, which is horribly filthy- [ ] Cracked and moving tiles everywhere, people tripped on the one in the kitchen that pops up when you step on one side- [ ] The owners played music all day next to their RV so we couldn’t enjoy the quietness of nature in the woods, even went and run errands and left the music on- [ ] Aside from the master bedroom all the beds on the first floor make so much noise that people can’t even sleep in them- [ ] Everything was just dirty outside and inside and felt gross. - [ ] Very disappointing

Huge house in a great location.

The place was amazing! Huge kitchen, awesome game room, giant master bathroom. It was super close to the wedding venue we were going to but also near great hiking trials and close to river access. We had a party of seven and had tons of room for everyone.

Beautiful Foresthill home

Wonderful house for our stay for Western States 100. Very convenient. My only suggestion is there weren’t any wash cloths and a hair dryer would’ve been helpful.

Fantastic House

Our family had a wonderful experience here. The house is beautiful and large enough for 3 families, which included active toddlers! Plenty of space to relax and find some solace on the grounds as well. John was always available to answer any questions . We have family in Foresthill so we will hopefully be back again!

We had a very relaxing stay at this property. The house is the perfect size for a large group, (we had 4 couples), and the location is perfect for a weekend in the sierra foothills. Check-in was a breeze. My only recommendation would be to have your cleaners check some of the pots/pans/dishes in cabinets- we found many of them that were still dirty but put away for use. Thank you so much!

Nice space for larger families

The house was comfortable for our short stay for a wedding weekend. Rooms are comfortable, as was the living room for relaxing. The host attempted to fix a reservation double booking. Lots of artwork and personal pictures hung which some guests may enjoy, while others may consider it a turn-off if you are looking for a more "professional" interior. Host was attentive to texts/emails.

Forest house wedding

This place was perfect for a “home base” for my son’s wedding at forest house lodge. It was 100 degrees and the house was great to hang out in to keep cool after wedding rehearsal. We had family, cousins, uncle and pet staying with us. Everything was self explanatory and very easy to use. It was big enough to gather while we try to kill time before wedding.

Communication was terrible with host

The good: -the location. Close to the wedding venue, close to a store that had anything we needed (along with a deli inside) - size house/ land. Very spacious, plenty of room for all cars in driveway. Plenty of area to throw a ball around, or hang outside. House layout was nice, very large open areas. Great for big family/friends to socialize and not be on top of one another. The bad- -extremely poor communication with the host. We had booked for 2 nights (Wednesday-Friday). Then over three weeks prior to check in I asked if we could extend one night, to check out on Saturday. He said yes, to just leave cash or check in kitchen for the additional night. Less than 48 hours prior to us checking in he messaged me and says “sorry you need to leave Friday, I was double booked” This was a huge hassle for us, we had the wedding events until late on Friday. I asked if we could at least check out a little later on Friday (we had a brunch and pictures) He said absolutely no, check in/out times are set. I explained to him the predicament he put us in, and he was not helpful at all. He kept blaming the companies he uses for the over booking. And while MAYBE it’s true, there was no offer to help us for the inconvenience. I should have seen the red flag when the additional night was not done through VRBO for the extension. - The pillows were flat, the master closet had extras. All of which had large brown stains. The towels are old. Recommend bring your own towels/pillows!

Excellent house to accommodate two families, especially if you are attending a Wedding in Forresthill. Very spacious and clean house, and the pool table was a hit with everyone. We really enjoyed staying here and would rent again.

Very Spacious!

We were in town for a wedding about 5 miles from the house. 8 of us staying there but the place is so big, we weren’t on top of each other. If I had to go to ForrestHill again, I’d stay there again.

A great mountain retreat!

My family and I stayed in this wonderful house for 5 nights while I ran a 100 mile ultra nearby and then we celebrated my son’s first birthday. The property was well situated for us, and quiet and clean. The accommodations were spacious and well appointed, with comfy beds and linens. The kitchen had all of the necessary utensils and pots and pans for us to cook several dinners. Would highly recommend to others!
