MUDGEE Character filled warm and cozy house with 2 queen size bedrooms located on a level area with views forever. 28 acres of privacy only 15 minutes to the heart of Mudgee via a bitumen road. Pet friendly. Open fire, 55" TV, Netflix, Foxtel-Go, most streaming services, and all the free to air stations. Fast & unlimited Starlink WiFi internet access and strong Telstra 4G.
28 acres to wander around including 4 dams, a creek and an orchard with fruit trees and grape vines. Watch the sunsets with a glass or two of vino around the fire pit and cook up a storm in the fully equipped kitchen or the outdoor BBQ. Taxi and mini bus available if you need transport to and from town or the many wineries.

Two queen size beds and an air mattress available for the loungeroom if you want to sleep up to six.

We had a wonderful time, the little farm house was beautifully presented, the outdoor area was lovely, perfect for a little volleyball net and the kids lived the fire pit at night. Great location, we would definitely stay again!

The Views to die for

Wow!What an amazing place to stay.The views are sublime and so peaceful, just wait till you go outside at night to gaze at the stars beside the warmth of the firepit.We loved our stay.

Exceeded expectations. The view was spectacular. Clean, comfy beds. Kitchen had everything you needed. Wildlife at every turn. Mowed tracks to walk around the property. Went to Mudgee to visit wineries but ended up not going anywhere as it was so relaxing and peaceful.

Fabulous short getaway. Our dog loved being here and the fenced yard meant we didn’t need to be concerned of her whereabouts. The view was spectacular and we spent most of our time outside admiring it and the various wildlife. Our daughter is convinced she saw an echidna! The mandarins from the orchard were delicious and the fireplace kept the place cosy at night. Highly recommend staying at The Views.

Great country get away

A perfect stay in beautiful Mudgee

It was our first time visiting Mudgee, and we knew we wanted somewhere homely, with views & for our Labrador to join us… Neil’s property was absolutely perfect. A short drive into the centre of town, but far enough away that you woke up with beautiful views across the valley & kangaroos on the lawn. We loved how cosy the place was, the perfect house for us and our dog, who absolutely loved the space to run outside. It felt very homely & comfortable straight away. We had some very cold weather but the fire kept the whole house warm. We will definitely be back!

Cosy cottage with stunning views!

It was our second visit to The Views with our two dogs. We really enjoyed drinks around the awesome fire pit, as well as toasting marshmallows, while taking in the gorgeous sunsets. Our pups loved their freedom & adventures around the property. A short drive to many wineries and Mudgee town centre. Highly recommended!

The name of the property says it all. The views are stunning. A very private and relaxing getaway. Simple and comfortable decor. A great location to visit neighbouring towns. We will be back.

Magical stay at The Views

The ultimate country holiday cottage experience. It’s not called The Views for no reason- views FOR DAYS in all directions, and layers of variety and countryside within the endless views. Peaceful and interesting, you can gaze at the sunrises, sunsets, clear night sky full of stars or relax by the indoor and outdoor cosy fireplaces. The internet connection is fast & excellent if you need it, and if not it’s more time to relax with a glass of wine and take in the views from every aspect- which may include the outdoor fire-warmed bath which is a fun experience. Thanks Neil for your thoughtful hospitality.

Cosy cottage with a breathtaking view

Lovely view from a rustic cottage terrace with a fire pit. A cosy lounge room with a fireplace is perfect for the chilly mornings/evenings. Neil is amazing - he called to check on us when the area was flooding. Couldn't recommend highly enough!

Best stay ever

Couldn't be more comfortable with the owners, they were available for us - especially as there was a storm in the area and the town's electrical supply went out. Neil was on the phone and assisted promptly and effectively. Property was a delight with superb views, bird life and close to the wineries, Neil's recommendation for winery was spot on. Best regards

Peace and Quiet

Lovely farm stay, allowing absolute peace and quiet but only 10 mins to Mudgee township. The cottage has all the amenities you need for a comfy retreat. 2 good sized bedrooms, hot shower, NBN, Smart TV, Sonos etc. But my favourite was the wood burning fire that heats the whole house in minutes.

Peaceful Retreat

We LOVED our stay at aptly named "The Views". (You'll understand when you get there) Excellent value for money, having 28 acres of privacy sitting on the most amazing countryside backdrop. We were so glad to find a unique property like this so close to Mudgee that was pet friendly. We've never seen our dog Lou so happy having so much space to run around and enjoy. The cottage has such a calm, tranquil feel to it. We could of happily stayed for a couple weeks just doing absolutely nothing but enjoying the surroundings. Neil was prompt and responsive, informing us on all we needed to know throughout our stay. Highly recommend!

We were not prepared for how incredible the panoramic views would be from this lovely property. None of the photos on this listing, or any that we took, even come close to how stunning the outlook is. We were floored by the beauty and sheer vastness of what we could see. You haven't seen a sunrise until you have stayed here! The house itself is simple but charming with a cosy living area, great fireplace and comfortable beds. The modern shower is a great addition. We will definitely be back!

Cosy country cottage with views

Very clean and tidy, with plenty of warmth for a winter visit for 2 nights outside of Mudgee (10klm). Good amenities. Very dog friendly, however small dogs would be better, due to size of yard. We’d go back again.
