The Queen is a fully self-contained house with all the comforts of home. It is the perfect spot to enjoy watching the sunset over Mudgee on the verandah with a glass of wine.

Located just 2 kms from the Lawson Park Hotel itโ€™s a nice stroll to town past the Mudgee Turf Club to visit the weekend markets, our many vibrant cafes, great country pubs or if you feel like some retail therapy you will find fabulous boutique shops stocking a curated collection of handpicked designer clothing, wardrobe essentials and accessories, beautiful homewares or local crafts and arts.

Across the road from us is a great cellar door, The Mudgee Small Wine Makers Centre where you can sample wines from over eight award winning boutique wine makers with unmatched quality and classic country charm.

Also close by The Cellar by Gilbert offers guests the chance to enjoy award winning wines andย small bitesย made from locally sourced and homegrown produce in an elegant and relaxed wine bar atmosphere.

Mudgee weekender

Great old home with lots of character. Location is just out of town with 2 tasting rooms within walking distance. Had a superb long weekend with friends. Would stay again if we make the trip back to Mudgee.

Friends road trip

We chose Mudgee as a place to catch up and enjoy the surrounding area. Loved the house and the special touches such as coffee pods and fresh milk. Great to sit out on the veranda with a glass of wine at the end of the day.

The Queen of Mudgee

A lovely stay in a very conveniently located and well-presented property. The Queen is a very short drive to the centre of Mudgee, but on a large block and not too close to other properties. Everything we needed was included, and the house is beautifully presented.

Definitely has the cosy feeling but also has many different areas to relax rain, hail or shine and those comfy spots are utilised at different times to catch the best aspects of the day. The beds, linen and doonas are very comfortable and we all slept in. We will be back.

The Queen was conveniently located just out of town with a lovely outlook.The property was spotless and all the essentials were provided.There was some road noise early Monday morning, however, this wasnโ€™t an issue over the weekend.We enjoyed our stay.
