We celebrated a birthday and babymoon at Spring Lake and had a fantastic time. The location feels private and the host is very accommodating. We really enjoyed the big porch swing and hot tub. Everyone had a great experience and we would absolutely stay here again!

AMAZING PLACE

Awesome and very relaxing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and was sad to leave. The space accommodated our group well and we loved the lake, back porch, and outside fireplace area. The house is nicely furnished and we would highly recommend if you are looking for a quiet place in the country.

We rented this beautiful home to be near the hospital in Greenville for our grandson’s procedure. We had a fabulous time. The kayaks and canoe were enjoyed by all! The house is amazing and it had everything we needed for children and adults. We hope to return!

Had a wonderful week with kids and grandkids, rained all but 2 days but still enjoyed! Very disappointed that the weather kept us from enjoying all the outdoor amenities but the large covered back porch allowed us to be outside.

We do a yearly vacation and this by far was one of the best. The house had every accommodation possible. From indoors to outdoors everything was perfect. We enjoyed swimming, fishing, kayaking, and my favorite lounging on the porch swing bed. The hot top was a hit in the evenings after a day of swimming and the area in the back with the out door fireplace was just as nice as the porch over the water. Again, this was a perfect family trip. Would definitely book again.

Best porch ever!

This was a cute place - lovely home and really dynamite porch. You are right on the water. We spent most of our time on the daybed swing out there. The house had pretty much anything you could want - we had a pretty easy time cooking dinners. We really appreciated all of the supplies they had - tons of games, towels for swimming, laundry pods, plenty of toilet paper. That was so helpful!Easy to get to, and the local towns were fun to bop around in (Easley/ Pickens).

wonderful water getaway.

this was all we hoped for. The only equipment we added was a stand-up paddleboard. the variety of kayaks was perfect for the 5 - 14 yo boys. Having the water so close the boys could jump in any time. The fishing was great too, and the little boys caught a couple all by themselves.

SERENITY

My friends and I were looking for a girls getaway and this property did not disappoint!! We thoroughly enjoyed everything about this place. Being right on the lake was the best. We swam, used the canoe, turtle watched from the dock and made use of the outdoor porch with swing bed. The house was well stocked from dishes to spices. From start to finish our trip was amazing. The only thing I would add to the house is a television to the master bedroom. We will definitely be booking this house again next year.

Perfect for hosting family for Clemson graduation

My husband and I, along with five other family members, greatly enjoyed our 3-night stay while in town for our daughter's graduation from Clemson University. It's a beautiful, peaceful, quiet location with incredible views, and we all had plenty of room to spread out. The large kitchen was perfect for hosting a graduation breakfast - plenty of counterspace and seating for everybody. No issues to report - everything went very smoothly and host was quick to respond when I emailed with a question prior to our visit. I wish we had stayed one more night to have time to just relax! : )

Great Family Vacation

Our young family of four joined two other families with young children. The stay was perfect and after visiting the Day Use area on Lake Keowee just west of the house, we were happy to stay on the much quieter Six Mile Lake. The house was equipped with plenty of activities to keep everyone busy: boats, life jackets for swimming, hot tub, and trampoline. Plenty of wildlife to keep the pesky mosquitos away! The kitchen was well-stocked to cook each night and the house was not too far from plenty of restaurants to choose from in Clemson: our choice was the Smokin' Pig. Would come again with a group no questions asked!

A home away from home

We loved it here! I came here to look for our next home, we’re from the PNW Washington state. My heart led me to South Carolina and I’m grateful I chose this home to spend our time there. They had everything we were looking for. The home is beautiful with all the space, the kitchen is a dream the back deck was our favorite place to be. My family fished the whole time. Caught catfish and bass and there is so many turtles. We left our fishing poles for other guests to enjoy! We explored all the areas around us, every road you take leads you right back to this home! We didn’t want to leave.. we will be back soon!

When the weather was COLD

We did not use any outdoor opportunities and still had a great time. Beautiful home, well stocked with necessities, roomy, nice lake view and close to town. A beaver dropped a tree across the driveway and they had someone out there that day to take care of it. Lost power the last night due to a wind storm. They had flash lights and told us if we were late leaving not to worry. Wonderful hostess and owners.

I can’t say enough good things about this lake house! It is a magical place for families- quiet and peaceful, but set up for lots of family fun! The house is set beautifully, directly on the lake with stunning views. Just walk out onto the back deck and the water is right there. We traveled with our 2 boys (9 & 13), and they LOVED the kayaking, swimming, trampoline, and making s’mores in the fire pit every night. My husband enjoyed fishing, and I liked watching everyone enjoy their time while laying on the outdoor swing bed. The inside of the house had everything we needed and was very clean. You could tell the owners really thought of all of the details- from extra supplies, to cozy blankets, to fun games and puzzles. The kitchen was fully stocked with anything you need to cook, but we also enjoyed a few quaint restaurants in Six Mile- Los Pablanos, Scoops Icecream and Pizza, the Red, White and Brew coffee shop (in an old firehouse), and the Lighthouse restaurant on Lake Keowee. There is also a convenient store about 2 miles down the road if you need anything quick.We went to a Clemson game and visited Table Rock State Park while we were there. The rest of the time we fully enjoyed being at the house! It was one of our most relaxing family vacations, and no one wanted to leave. We will definitely be back! This one is a definite winner- if you are on the fence, book it! You will make so many wonderful memories! I’m still thinking about what a great time we had!

Definitely a 5 out of 5 experience! This is my favorite vacation house we’ve stayed at. The house was above and beyond our expectations. Even better than the pictures if that’s possible. The house was immaculate. Gorgeous inside and out with so many personal touches. Had everything we needed from kitchen and bathroom supplies, even shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, to outside blankets, towels for inside and outside, and games inside and out. The porch swing was amazing. Very private and quiet. Loved the landscaping, games, cornhole, hot tub, outside dining, hot tub lights, all the boats. They have not left anything out. Easy check in and check out. Being right on the water was amazing. You’re not going to find another water location like this one. Close to restaurants and shopping. If you’re wondering if this should be the one, don’t even think about it. You are going to LOVE it! Fishing was great! My son caught 4 fish! He used night crawlers we got at Walmart. We also saw several turtles! Book it now before it’s gone!

Beautiful Lake house ideal to relax, eat and drink

It's my second time renting this place and I'm sure it will be a third...Everything is perfect but a few things can be improved to make it perfect.Make sure there is ice on the freezer; is not ideal to drive 2 hours to arrive to this place for after unpacking realize there is no ice on "the ice maker"Same recommendation for the firewood, if the house offers a fireplace, it would be a nice amenity to have firewood available, no guest will be happy traveling with their own firewood in the trunk of the car just to have a nice fire at night.and last, even when the contact person cannot help you with any of these requests from above... instruct her to be cordial and friendly, if you leave a message saying "if you need anything or have questions call (this person)" make sure this person knows how to be helpful and friendly. Mostly friendly.

Let your expectations be blown away!

This home didn’t just satisfy every need for tranquility and relaxation we desired it went above and beyond! To start the home is very easily accessible and although deserted enough to give you peace and quiet it’s perfect location it’s easily accessible to so many things your heart can desire like Pickens for a quick trip to visit history and shopping, or just a few minutes to the quick mart to grab those last minute items you may have forgotten. Don’t forget the lake access to Keowee for the day on the boat! The home is amazing and has been stocked with everything you might possibly need or want!! I was so impressed by everything it had to offer: like to read? TONS of books!, enjoy cooking? Every appliance necessary! I promise this home will not disappoint! I was able to catch up on work from my laptop while the kids spent their days in the lake like fish. The afternoons were spent playing games (did i mention we brought our own only to be shocked that they had everything we loved??) and reading books. Home cooked meals sitting around the beautiful table will be missed most!
