About this property

Home with stunning views in Hunter Valley. 10pp hot tub spa & Tesla charger

This home is situated on top of the hills in the Upper Hunter region, taking in the picturesque rolling countryside, with views towards Barrington Tops National Park, located next to Lostock Dam.

Complete with a fireplace, BBQ, Smart TV, Wifi, Tesla charger ($25/ day of charging), and all the amenities you need for a relaxing stay.

The main house has 3 bedrooms that sleeps up to 6 people (1 King bed, 1 Queen bed, 1 Double bed) & 2 bathrooms. The guest quarters additionally sleeps up to 4 people (1 Queen bed, 1 fold-out lounge) & ensuite. This is semi-attached to the main home, entrance via the undercover veranda. Please see the floor plan.

If you have additional people (greater than 8) we are happy to accommodate at an additional cost per head.

BYO linen/towels - or we can provide ironed linen and towel set for an additional $30 per bed (2 people). Pets allowed for $25/stay (not on furniture or carpeted areas)

Great relaxing place with a fantastic view, huge games room, spa overlooking the valley and firepit area. Great for mates weekend away or family groups. No need to leave the property, just stay and enjoy the serenity.

Great stay for a family catchup

We had 3 nights here for a family catchup (3 groups). The house was great, with plenty of room for everyone. The separate granny flat room worked really well for 1 family with a young baby, so they could get a break away from everyone else when needed. We had a terribly windy first 2 days but were able to stay warm (very warm actually) inside with the fireplace. Then got to enjoy the beautiful outdoor firepit and views one the wind was gone.

AMAZING!!!!

We had the loveliest time at Mount Rivers to celebrate my husbands birthday with the family. The property is just gorgeous........those views, the wildlife, the comfortable house.......the complete package. Communication from the owner was second to none. Every question answered so quickly! The house itself was super comfortable and so well stocked with everything you could need for your get away I couldn't recommend this place highly enough.

Amazing View , Relaxing and tranquil .

We have stayed there for four nights on 24/08/2020. Beautiful place, lovely view, super quiet so no one is there to bother you. If you are looking for a place to unwind yourself , this place would be the one. Rooms were very clean and tidy. The host Stephanie and property manger are super friendly. Every time I have any queries/issues , I got response within 5 minutes. Moreover , the items provided in the kitchen as extra (i.e coffee pods, olive oil,tea, sugar ) were very handy. Definitely love to stay there again, highly recommend. Cheers

Great location, amazing views, great hosts!

Went away with a group of my friends, the house itself was lovely and the location was beautiful. The views from out the back over the whole landscape were breathtaking. There is little to no signal at the house even on the Telstra network, and while the location is great if you are planning extra activities such as a wine tour you will need to drive out and in of the area. Would definitely come back, thanks!

I don't recommend this property.

This property was not relaxing at all, our little kids were playing outside, but truck drivers were passing by our house, and we had to watch our kids not to go on the road. There was also a big dog that came to our house and starting playing with the kids, but the dog was very dirty and had flies all over him, and they charged extra without telling us, so I definitely don't recommend this property, if you want to relax.

Perfect get away

A long way from everyone- just perfect! Friendly manager, clean and as advertised. Safe for kids, but if you have toddlers- perhaps consider something to block the stairs! Lovely and would stay again.

Into the Countryside

The place has a magnificent view. It is clean and cozy. The property owner Stephanie and the manager Melissa were friendly and timely to respond to our queries. Just an advice, make sure to drive there while the sun is still up because it is gonna be tricky during night and so you can enjoy the beautiful sceneries along the road. It is true that there is no phone reception for the last 20mins of the travel, so if you want to get away from the busy city life and do meditate, this is your place. Also, make sure you bring all what you need because the nearest shop is 30-40mins drive away. Overall, my friends and I enjoyed the place. It was our first time to experience the country side of life, where mountains/woods/farm are, and indeed it was a great experience.
