Trevally by design, Villa 39 is a modern, delightful beach villa. Absolute ideal location for a hot summer holiday with only a hop, skip & a jump over the board walk to the very popular Normanville beach.
The villa is situated in the South Shores Resort Style Village, nestled behind the sand dunes, close to the reserve, main pool and board walk to the beach. The Village is a private gated community with landscaped gardens surrounded by magnificent countryside, bird filled eucalypts and some of the most divine beaches our state has to offer.
Relax and enjoy endless hours sun baking by the pool, get away from all the hustle & bustle of city living.
The Trevally features 3 bedrooms, all with Queen size beds, built in robes, drawers and ceiling fans, accommodating 6 guests. All bedrooms and main bathroom are located on the ground floor. The master bedroom opens out to a private deck overlooking the sand dunes and offering an alfresco setting to enjoy your morning coffees. Other features include a walk in ensuite & wall mounted tv. Bedrooms two and three are a generous size and have access to the main bathroom which has a large shower area, vanity and toilet facilities.
Upstairs is a large open plan living with western red cedar cafe bi-fold doors opening out onto a huge deck made for entertaining which overlooks the sand dunes. Enjoy socialising and barbecuing on the balcony area.
The living area has imposing 12 foot ceilings and the kitchen has outstanding finishes including Caesar stone bench tops and stainless steel Smeg Appliances. Make the most of the nespresso coffee pod machine (pods not included) for your coffee breaks and enjoy the filtered PURATAP water.
Outside you’ll be able to enjoy the communal swimming pools, children’s playground, bbq & picnic area and the gorgeous boardwalk.
Stroll down the boardwalk to the undiscovered sandy beaches and crystal blue waters of Normanville. The kids will love spending their summers building sand castles and riding the waves.
When you have had enough of the beach, you simply retire to your villa for a glass of wine and relax. Enjoy the comfort of ducted reverse cycle air conditioning throughout and 2 flat screen televisions and dvd player for your entertainment.
All the while the kids are safe and sound exploring the walking paths, native environment and play areas South Shores provides.
Just a short walk to the seaside town of Normanville and Links Lady Bay Resort, including the renowned Links Golf Course.
Only an hour out of Adelaide and you are in the perfect place to disappear and escape from the demands of everyday life.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at villa 39. Perfect family villa, close to beach and the kids loved the pool. Villa was tidy and a great size, had everything we needed. Only complaint was bedrooms were very dusty which effected my husband’s dust allergies.

Nice place to stay

I was a nice quiet holiday for us as place was mostly empty. It is probably very busy during summer school holidays. Board walk to swimming beach and a swimming pool makes this place a good holiday spot. Shower after the beach swim is a dud as one has to hold the button with one hand to make water to flow.

The unit was clean and tidy. The layout and furniture was a great setup for our group. 3 adults and a 4yr old. There was plenty around the to keep a child busy, swimming pool, playground and beach.

Glad to hear it was a good stay. It is a very nice villa and well maintained, as are the resort facilities at South Shores. However the villas are individually owned and this villa does not supply a baby gate.

Not worth the cost. Find alternate property for rent.

This property was nicely located and secure. Check in was easy and the property was nice overall. Unfortunately thats where the compliments end. Upon arrival the property manager told us that we were not to use the bins outside our property and that she wanted us to use the bins a while away in the centre of the villas. There was also rubbish in the bins, mess on the floor, cigarettes on the balcony (despite being a non-smoking property) and clumps of hair randomly in bedside tables and bins as well as sand and stains in the bed. The BBQ was also not clean despite a stipulation of hiring this property being that if we ourselves didnt clean the bbq we would be charged a substantial cleaning fee - As would be the case if we were to have left any of the aformentioned things in the property ourselves. If that wasnt bad enough, the property also did not provide towels or any linen depsite the extensive hire cost of the property. Overall, we were charged a cleaning and service fee for a property that was neither cleaned or serviced, with a late check in (3pm) and early check out (10am). Would not recommend.

At South Shores there is a program in place to support recycling of bottles and cans. Whilst guests may use the yellow recycling bins outside their villas, they are advised and encouraged on check in to use the designated recycle depot and or crates in garden beds for depositing bottles and cans. This assists with recycle overflow particularly during peak periods. Money collected from the bottles and cans is used to support local community charities and for grounds facilities improvements in the resort. The villa is always fully serviced prior to each booking, which we believe is undertaken to a good standard. We have many return guests to this villa who love it and who would attest to this. If something has been missed and guests have a concern, it is helpful to be notified at the time, so that appropriate action can be taken. The check in and check out times are advertised on the website. We will endeavour to accommodate earlier check ins or later check outs on request outside peak period. This is difficult however to accommodate at peak time.
