Villa ChristyLee is a 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom property on a direct gulf access canal (only 3 minutes/.3 miles by boat!) with a saltwater electric-heated pool. This home sleeps a maximum of 6 guests (including children) and will accommodate up to 2 pets that do not exceed a combined weight of 35 lbs. (no cats allowed) Please inquire for possible pet exceptions. Please note that the boat lift is NOT available for guest use.

Stayed for 2 weeks. The pool did not have a heater so therefore we couldn’t swim during our vacation. Also, the bathrooms are in need of updating and the patio door to the pool does not lock so you need a pc of wood on the bottom to block the door from opening.

Firstly, we appreciate you sharing your experience with us. We are sorry to hear that you did not have use of the pool heater during your stay. Unfortunately, the owner and property manager were at the mercy of the manufacturer for repairing and they worked as quickly as possible. The owner did refund 1/3 of your rent as compensation for your issues. Thank you for letting us know about the slider so we can address the issue with the property manager.

Good value - missing some details

Property is nice, some aspects need updates. Mattresses are pretty firm and looked old, could use topper or upgrades. Kitchen is basically equipped, if you are foodie people coming to cook here like my group you will find some things that you wish you had brought. We made do and got creative - the one serving platter is a Christmas plastic tray but it worked. Not sure if the house had not been rented in a while but we had to buy a lot of air fresheners and candles to assist with the musky odor. Wasn’t a deal breaker but wasn’t pleasant, and no way anyone missed that smell when they prepared house for us. There was no hand soap in bathrooms, no laundry detergent even though you are asked to start load at checkout, one dishwasher pod, 2 garbage bags and a pretty empty dish soap bottle. Small details but wished there was either a detailed list of what to expect or communicated it’s not provided. Overall super quiet area, we had great weather and enjoyed the pool immensely. Rental agency was easily contactable, all check in and check out processes were clear.

Good for a quiet stay

The neighborhood was very quiet and the property was nice and had good amenities (the pool table was great as was the pool) but was missing a few key items (Like TV’s in all the bedrooms, a 10-12 cup coffee maker which we bought and left there and clean grill grates). Also, this is a suburban location so you’ll need to drive 30-60 minutes if you want to access any activities other than restaurants or the movie theater. Overall a good experience.
