Me and my family spent two months here to be closer to family and we had a blast! The hosts were great, made us feel right at home. Any and all questions were covered in their manual. But Bruce and Bonnie were there if we needed to clarify anything! The home itself was exactly like the pictures. Even better in person. We spent so many mornings on the deck enjoying the view. The property is so private and beautifully landscaped. We will definitely be back!
This property is amazing! We felt at home instantly which made leaving so much harder. Photos don't do it justice. It's large, clean and the views are breathtaking. Attention to detail in the furnishings made it feel truly luxurious. Bruce and Bonnie were always available. Anything we needed to find was intuitive and readily available. We can not wait to go back! Thanks for making this fall so special :) No special tips needed in the review as everything was perfect.

Thank you very much, John. We genuinely appreciate your thoughtful, detailed review. You and Amanda (and Lucy!) were such dream guests--the place was spotless when you left--and we look forward to the next time you're able to stay with us.
We have just returned from a peaceful three-night stay at Bruce and Bonnie's lovely lake front cottage in Prince Edward County. We had great communication leading up to the stay with the owners and a welcoming bottle of wine on our arrival. Our Thanksgiving stay was relaxed and the cottage was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook our special meal. From the beautiful sunrise over the lake, to drinks around the firepit at night, and a chilly afternoon watching the waves on the lake from the comfort of the sunroom, this was the perfect place to relax. Plenty of space for all the family to gather together around the table, or space for everyone to find a quiet spot when needed. The cottage was clean and comfortable, with a spacious deck and gorgeous waterfront views. Close to wineries and a short drive to Picton, we would highly recommend this cottage to family and friends.

Thank you, Lis. We're so glad you were able to have such an enjoyable family Thanksgiving stay with us, and were able to take full advantage of what our place and the County offered you. We hope you'll be able to make your way down Green Point Lane again in 2021! Cheers! Bruce & Bonnie
Bruce and Bonnie are wonderful hosts (clearly experienced) and we fell in love with their beautiful cottage and the surrounding property and wildlife. It's even lovelier than it looks in the photos, and it's nicely situated to explore the County. The cottage is clean, spacious and light-filled, with all the comforts of home, and the enormous verandah and lake view are simply dreamy. Our family (2 parents, 2 kids and 2 dogs) had the rest and relaxation we needed and we hope to return.
The house is comfortable. The sun room and front porch are lovely. Kitchen is well equipped. The lakeview is great and makes for lots of enjoyable sitting. So, if you are looking to sit in a very quiet place and enjoy the lake views, this is perfect. For us, it was not perfect because a) there is absolutely nowhere to go for a walk and we are walkers; and b) the laneway in which is about 3/4 of a mile was in such awful condition it was a deterrent to heading out anwhere. The location is not at all central, so as a jumping off spot to explore P.E. County I would say it's not ideal. There were two kayaks for guests use, but no dock and no real beach. (I am told there will be a dock installed this month). We did enjoy the quiet, the water view, and the birds, but found it too isolated and far from most everything for us to want to stay there in the future.
Best medicine after 16 months of lockdown in Toronto!
My family and I have been staying at Bruce and Bonnie’s place on Green Point Lane since July 8th, leaving on August 7th. The place is fantastic! So much room for all of us to spread out. Very quiet and you can always find a place in the sun given the size of the property. They have everything you need - from wine glasses, to Tupperware, to BBQ utensils, to kayaks. They haven’t missed a beat in ensuring their guests have all the comforts of home.
Napanee is about 30 minutes away and has everything one needs - groceries, LCBO, drug store, Walmart, etc. Bruce was a terrific communicator leading up to and during our stay. The morning view is stunning over the lake. The beds are awesome! The decks at the front and back of the house are the highlight. Very different than our condo in Toronto. Will be hard to go home - especially for our dog! Highly recommend this property if you need an escape from city life! Thank you, Bruce and Bonnie!
This house and its property were beautiful . The owners were especially thoughtful. The house was very clean and had everything we needed. The front porch was a favourite spot - from morning coffees to evening BBQs and for watching the swans, sailboats, herons and turtles go by. The property was only a short drive to the local areas of interest. A great vacation.
The property is on a beautiful piece of land, right on the water and the house is kept in immaculate condition. Bonnie and Bruce were wonderful hosts. Thank you!
What a spectacular spot! The house is immaculate, well appointed and cozy! The beds are very comfortable and the kitchen has everything you need. But this place is all about that incredible porch with the most amazing view on the inlet. I have not had such a peaceful morning as I did this weekend watching the sunrise and listening to the geese and ducks! Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend.
Lovely getaway in PEC with the most spectacular views
This was the perfect getaway for our friends group. We spent half our time relaxing at the lakeside cottage and the other half checking out the wineries/breweries in the area. It was the perfect mix of adventure and relaxation. Bruce was kind enough to offer a thorough list of recommended places to go and was very responsive anytime we had questions about anything. The house is fairly spacious with lots of different areas to hang out. And the outdoor space is just lovely to sit out on the patio, enjoy outdoor games, relax by the lakeside, bbq, and have a bonfire. Would most definitely stay again.
Thank you!
Thank you, Suzan! We especially appreciated the thoughtful words you left in our guest book. We got some time to stay ourselves recently, and every morning we got to experience the beautiful peace and quiet and those breathtaking views you wrote about! Hope to see your name on a future booking. Bruce & Bonnie
Loved the property and the hosts were awesome. Very quiet and scenic. Loved it!
