What a beautiful property! It was exceptionally clean and beautifully furnished. Great communication with the host. I cannot say enough nice things. Wonderful stay.
Lairds Lair is the perfect place for us to enjoy what HH has to offer. The beach at Port Royal Sound is just beautiful, and it was only steps away.
The Lair is perfect, comfortable, clean and functional and the Sound can be seen from the balcony. Can't wait to go back next year!
Our family enjoyed the easy access to the beach, pools, hot tub and tennis courts. The teenagers used the bikes with the unit to go exploring the history park nearby. The sunrises off the water were stunning.
This was our first time to HHI. We couldn’t have asked for better accommodations. Our condo was clean & spacious and close to everything! The beach is literally steps away with 2 pools as well. We spent a couple days at Coligny Beach (highly recommend). There is no shortage of things to do and places to eat. We will absolutely stay here again and recommend others do as well!
We had the best time! The sound was gorgeous, the water warm enough to wade and swim some (in April), there was so much wildlife, and the pluff mud was delightful! 4/5 on cleanliness because indoor pool was murky and had paper pieces floating in it for days (we swam anyway!). The outdoor pools were sparkling clean but cold.
A group of 4 women rented this condo for a long weekend. From start to end, this was an awesome stay. It was obvious that the unit had been updated. And very nicely done. We would definitely consider staying here again.
This is a simple, somewhat rustic unit on a really gorgeous stretch of the bay at Hiilton Head. We really enjoyed walking on the beach everyday and enjoying exploring Hilton head. 4 bikes came with the place which was much appreciated and my daughter, son-in-law and I took a long bike ride one morning. The place was quiet and the nature was rejuvenating. This is not a luxury resort by any means, but it hit the spot!

We are so happy that you enjoyed your visit! It is a hidden gem for those that want to escape and relax! Have a great summer!
I loved the location of my condo. Was close to the beach. However there was sand on the floors and the master bath shower was not working properly. Could not make the hand held stay in the shower position. A keurig coffee maker would be a great addition as well. Mostly it was a great stay and I’ll definitely rent again.

Family vacation
Enjoyed the proximity to the beach but the villa is in need of a thorough deep cleaning, especially the bathrooms and kitchen.
The skillet we used had to be scrubbed before we could use it as it had food stuck on it.
The villa was smaller than it appeared in the pictures and the furniture in the living room was not comfortable and needs replaced.
We also heard every footstep that the people took in the villa above us.
Dated property with floors that are sagging. Enjoyed the community fountains and flora. Quiet mornings on the patio enjoying coffee. Lots of noise from unit above us when the family with children moved around. Last night there was horrible. Spring breakers made an incredible amount of noise. Music and loud talk until 2:30a.m. We will not come back. If you want to try The Spa get a third floor unit if you come in March.
The place was ok, unfortunately you could easily hear the upstairs residents walking around, talking, etc.
The decorations and furniture were unmatching and there was an old, antique store smell in the condo. We purchased
a scented candle which was helpful. The handsoap dispensers had watered down soap with only a tiny amount that would last a few days so bring your own soap. On the plus side, the beds are comfortable and the kitchen has nice appliances. I did appreciate the little gift bag with brochures, sunglasses, popcorn and coffee. The small samples of lotion, shampoo, conditioner and bath soap were a nice touch.
Clean and close to the beach. I like the spa at port royal alot. Pretty courtyard. Quiet. Good place for littles. They also let us check in 3 hrs early so automatic 5 stars from me.

Aug getaway
The location was nice. Property seemed a bit run down ~ hot tub not working, exercise room not what was pictured.
The unit itself was a nice proximity to the inlet access; however, the unit pictured and advertised was apparently when it was a newer unit. Floors are warped and we had lots of noise (after 6 pm and before 6 am) from the upstairs unit (sounded like heavy footsteps and moving furniture)
The beach next to the property is not ideal for swimming due to lots of reeds, rocks, and jellyfish. We ended up driving to the public beach day after the first day. Just be mindful in case you book with the intent to swim at the beach everyday. It you just want to stroll around at sunset, it is a great location.
The other downside of the property is a lack of common amenities/essentials in the kitchen. For example, there was no Tupperware, common spices, coffee grounds, new sponge, etc. The pots and pans were were scratched up and took a long time to heat up. So, if you plan to use more than the microwave in the kitchen, you will need to bring everything with you.
Great time had by all, sad we didn’t come here when our kids were little. Enjoyed the surrounding nature, frogs singing us to sleep every night and even the alligator that we saw strolling up the beach.
The condo was exactly as described, with more than enough thoughtful amenities (cookware, toiletries, cleaning supplies, beach items, bug spray, and games). Our family could really relax in the serene atmosphere. The condo is super-close to the outdoor pool and just a short walk to the indoor pool and fitness room. The access to the beach was close and convenient, and the view was priceless. During the last two days of the stay, there was a bit of noise from a tenant above us (pitter-patter of little feet), but all other days were quiet and peaceful.
