The Cottage - Glenworth Estate

Located on the top of Berry Mountain, the Estate comprises fifty acres of pristine Australian native bushland, farmland and private accommodation with mountain and ocean views. You are spoilt for choice as you are connected to the wider Shoalhaven region - within 5 minutes you are in the historic town of Berry, a scenic 15 minutes to Kangaroo Valley and a short 15 minutes to Seven Mile Beach.

Historically known as the "Estate Managers Residence", Glenworth Cottage sits on two acres of its own land and overlooks paddocks, orchards and has views of the Glenworth House.

Rebuilt and designed by award winning interior designer Victoria Hampshire, every detail has been carefully curated resulting in an entertainer’s dream.

Accommodating ten people across four bedrooms and three bathrooms, this is the perfect destination for friends and family getaways and special weekends away. Warm up by the fireplace with your favourite red in Winter, enjoy breakfast basking in the morning sun on the front deck or be a master chef in our state of the art entertainers kitchen - the experiences are endless for you to enjoy all season.

This is such a lovely property that has been beautifully designed. The beds are so comfy and the kitchen is great. We enjoyed seeing the cows out the window and strolling through the orchard. Sadly we didn't spot the resident wombat but we did see his foot prints.

My cousin and I enjoyed our stay so much! Beautiful location and perfectly appointed with everything we could need. Looking forward to heading back in winter with the open fire inside and fire pit outside.

Stunning cottage in a beautiful location!

Our family of 10 stayed here over the long weekend & it was the perfect retreat. The cottage is absolutely beautiful, with so many luxury touches. The scenery is incredible & the kids loved spotting all the local wildlife. Easy drive into Berry. The property exceeded our expectations. Can’t wait to return!

Beautiful house in superb location

We loved our stay in this house. Very new and spacious. Bigger than we expected. Location was amazing being a short drive to Berry Town. The kids had the best time. It was clean, bedrooms were massive and it was a great experience overall. Kids loved the cows too!

Simply beautiful

We have stayed here before and loved it. This time was no different and it’s wonderful to see the adjoining orchard growing so well. We were very well looked after by the manager and no question went unresolved. A beautiful house

The Most Beautiful Girls Weekend

This property made a thoughtfully-planned girls weekend away extra special. The photos online don't do the property justice. We enjoyed a charcuterie board and drinks on the back porch whilst watching the sunset, enjoyed the outdoor fire pit, and the resident chicken's were an extra fun surprise. The house is extremely spacious and well-designed, and the kitchen has all the amenities you need with an abundance of glassware to cater to all types of beverages - a bonus for a girls weekend! The bedrooms are beautiful, only constructive feedback is to place more mirrors in the rooms - there was no full length mirror available for us to use. The drive up to the property is absolutely beautiful and sets the scene for the wonderful stay ahead.

The house is beautiful. Lovely, quality fittings and touches throughout. The outdoor spaces are great for kids, safe with lots to see and do. The way all the windows perfectly frame the gorgeous scenery means you have a view wherever you are.

Beautifully presented property

Cottage is in a peaceful and picturesque location and is finished to the highest standard just a few minutes drive from Berry town centre. The separate sleeping accommodation would be ideal for two families holidaying together. Kids loved seeing the wombats running around in the morning and evening.

Beautiful Property

The moment we arrived we loved every detail the house had. Tastefully decorated the home was filled with all the modern luxuries from heated bathroom floors, French glassware and tempur beds. We were sad we didn't stay longer. The best part has to be the cows that roam very close to the property. Can't wait to return.

Perfect family get away

We stayed at Glenworth cottage for 10 days over the Easter break. Another family of 5 joined us for the Easter weekend and the cottage comfortably slept 4 adults and 6 children. Location was perfect for exploring the region by day and then retreating to the quiet and tranquil mountain. The house is stunning and drenched in natural light. We will definitely be back.

Perfect country retreat

Glenworth Cottage is part of a larger estate being lovingly restored by its owners. Attention to detail in the design and carefully curated interiors make for a perfect country escape. Beautifully positioned between the highlands and the coast, they grow their own produce. Looking forward to next time.

Truly amazing stay! The place was immaculate, amazing furnishings with a warm fireplace. Perfect for all weather. Equally as enjoyable were the personal touches, which made a great stay become an amazing experience! We will definitely be back, and we will be bringing friends!
