We had a wonderful stay with family. The house was super clean and fresh. The space was nice for a group of 9 to eat and play games together. The bedroom and bathroom spaces suited this size very well. The host kept in contact to see if there was anything we needed. The location was great for our home base between ski trips at Hoodoo and Mt. Bachelor. We highly recommend this home!

5 stars for this home's location on the ranch and for being well stocked with a full kitchen and plenty of towels and sheets for everyone. The beds are very comfortable, and having multiple bikes available for our use was appreciated. Also, the hosts are very responsive. The home shows signs of heavy use, including many broken pieces of furniture and a non-functioning grill. Most concerning, we did not have AC the first night (very hot and stuffy) and we found significant black mold in one of the bathrooms. Given all that, the house seems appropriately priced for high season on the ranch.

Relaxing Summer Stay

The house was perfect for our two families and located in a quiet area of BBR. Molly and Ryan were extremely responsive and the house was well stocked with games, kitchen/cooking supplies and bikes. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful Resort Perfect Home

Black Butte Ranch is a fabulous resort area with biking, hiking, golf, swimming, tennis, Pickleball, and more. The home we stayed in has great furnishings and a lovely patio. The kitchen has everything we needed. The home is spacious, comfortable, and perfect for our family group of 8. We highly recommend this experience!

There is a place....Black Butte Ranch

My family and I have been coming to Black Butte for over 30 years. It is a magical place. This home needs some serious attention. I found the home dirty, and metal furniture came out of the corners, which caused a scratch on one of my grandchildren. The property managers responded to us in a timely manner, but overall, I would advise guests to inquire if they have addressed issues with their cleaners or furniture that needs replacing.

Inaccurate Description

We were very disappointed that the house didn’t live up to the description in the listing and we were dismayed to find several items of neglected maintenance. The overall presentation was quite unsatisfactory.

Thank you for your review, Laura. Since this is our first rating less than 4 stars, we do not take a negative review lightly and have addressed your concerns since you left. As per our communication during your stay, this was over a particularly busy Labor Day weekend and getting maintenance out there timely was not possible. Since this is our only vacation home, we regularly visit and address any maintenance issues when we are there. As for the description of the house, based on our regular positive reviews from other guests, it seems to be accurate and the pictures are up-to-date with the re-modeled interior/kitchen, but we encourage our guests to review all of the pictures so that their stay exceeds their expectations. We are sorry that your expectations were not met.

Wonderful (and very hot!) week

The house is great in a nice location with a nice layout and well-equipped garage. We would have loved if the house had A/C since the temps reached 106°! That is not normal so any other week, it wouldn't have mattered as much.

Great House

The house was perfect for our family of 8. Bedrooms were closed off from the rest of the house so it was easy for the adults to stay up later than the kids when it was bedtime. House was clean and well stocked.

Wonderful & fully stocked house

Our whole family stayed at the property (1yr old to our 88yr old grandma thanks to this being single level property). It was a wonderful experience. The place is beautiful, well equipped and stocked. The location is magical. The communication with owners and property manager was a breeze. The beds were super comfortable, the layout is great with rooms separate from living space, the heater held up great during cold nights, but if it doesn't the fireplace with the insert provides an immense amount if heat. A few notes if you haven't been to BBR: make sure to punch in Black Butte Ranch (not property address) into your maps to enter from the side with the welcome center. Also, all garbage needs to be taken to the refuse center which is a short drive away, there's is no garbage bin on property. We would definitely stay here again in the future
