Our immaculate, fresh and modern 3 bedroom apartment 'Condo on the Beach' has an amazing picturesque beachfront location and is perfect for your holiday getaway, with outstanding sea views and excellent facilities within strolling distance.
Located at the end of Onetangi beach, a few minutes stroll takes you to a range of bars, restaurants and cafes at the waters edge.
This apartment has 3 bedrooms, one with en-suite bathroom and another shared bathroom. The bedrooms offer one split-king bed that splits into two singles, a queen and a double bed. The large open plan lounge dining area offer modern kitchen, complete with hob, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave and dishwasher. There is a washer dryer for laundry.
The lounge has large bi-fold windows that open up to gorgeous sea views and there is a modern smart TV with Netflix, Youtube and built in Chromecast. The apartment comes with complimentary high speed Wifi.
A communal BBQ, lawn area and outdoor shower are all located downstairs for guests to enjoy, and there is a dedicated parking space for one vehicle on site.
The property is beautifully presented, newly decorated, and with brand new furniture, luxury linens and a modern beachy feel.

The Sands Apartment 2

Great apartment with good layout and location. Unfortunately a couple of things didn't work...Sky apparently due to atmospheric conditions and the towel rail in the ensuite. Plus the shower in the ensuite leaked all over the floor when used. 3 of us came away with flea bites after using the woollen blankets out of the cupboard for an afternoon nap. I would stay in the location/complex again but probably not that apartment.

Stay at Onetangi

Our stay at The Sands got off badly when we arrived to find our apartment completely covered in scaffolding and us unable to access our carpark. After calling our host we were told we should have been informed, which we were hadn’t been, and a solution had to be found. We were eventually offered two 2 bed apartments within the complex and whilst they had stunning views they were up a hill and three flights of stairs to be scaled. The rooms were comfy enough with good beds and bathrooms so overall we were happy. In the end we realised the view from Apt 2 would have been minimal compared to what we had. The location is great with the beach right across the road and two of Waiheke’s best eating spots further down and a Four Square, Gas station and liquor store not much further. In spite of the bad start, we enjoyed our time there.
