Incredible lodging - great for adults and kids alike
We had a wonderful stay at Rock Camp and loved everything about the property - the main living area and screened in porch was very comfortable, sleeping areas had views to die for, great rocks to play on at the waterfront, and the kitchen had everything needed for meals. An added bonus were the wild blueberries on the property.

5 Stars
Nancy's friend, one of the 3 who stayed there. I LOVED it. Gorgeous grounds, beautiful view, great new bedrooms with window wall. I particularly loved staying in the cabin half way down the hill. Comfy, peaceful, a refuge. It couldn't have been more perfect. Thank you.

Fantastic!
Fabulous landing spot for our weekend away! Great views, private, well provisioned (small kitchen but yet we made a number of full beautiful meals)! The old cabin portion is so wonderfully decorated and has the rustic charm you'll love and the new additions are gorgeous in their simple scandanavian design and views are to die for from your bedrooms!
My only words of advice would be for early/late season...we went early Oct and it was on the cold side (40s outdoor)so the only heat in the kitchen/living area is a wood stove and probably little-no insulation, there is wood etc provided, but you do need to be comfortable with running a wood stove and keeping it going when you are using that portion of the home. Fine for us, but I think it's worth a mention for a heads up for some.
Overall it was fabulous and I already have friends asking for details to book after seeing our trip photos on social media!

A cold and rainy, but cozy October weekend on the lake
My husband, son, and I spent the weekend of indigenous peoples day October 6-9 at this lovely and unique cottage on Mooselookmeguntic lake. It's an old fashion camp with two new modern structures, adjoined, and one outbuilding. The two new structures are gorgeous Nordic, modern bedrooms with exceptional light from full glass windows looking out at the lake. My son especially enjoyed the loft space in one of the two bedrooms, where he slept in a cozy full size bed. My husband enjoyed the outbuilding that was within steps of the lake, where he spent many hours playing his guitar. The original cabin itself was a bit chilly and dark; the kitchen was perfectly serviceable and we limited our time in the living/dining/screen porch area in favor of the brighter two modern modules (we carried the rocking chairs from the screen porch to the master bedroom to read and enjoy the view). We had a lovely hike to the top of bald mountain when the clouds clears for a 360 degree view, and treated ourselves to to drinking chocolates and chai lattes at the Hideaway in Rangeley. This was a very peaceful and quiet weekend off season. We look forward to checking it out in the summer! Thanks for a wonderful rental.
This place was awesome! Cool rustic cabin with modern upgrades and add ons. The rustic feel to the original cabin made the experience very unique and the added on bedrooms were extremely comfortable. There is another separate cabin which was a great place to hang out, get some work done, or relax with an evening cocktail. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again.

Amazing Getaway
5 stars doesn't do this beautiful space justice. Is a remarkable combination of rustic cabin, modern sleeping spaces in a gorgeous setting. We are looking forward to returning soon!
This is a really special find. We love modern architecture, and found it here in a rustic setting. Comfortable, new beds and nice bathroom. Great rocks to climb on at the lake, cute little "ice house" near the shore (futon under a loft bed - loft bed has no rail which freaked us out a little too much for a kid sleeping arrangement). Owners live next door and are extremely friendly and kind. We didn't cook here and wouldn't plan to do much as kitchen is small and deliberately old-timey. Great nearby eating options in Oquossoc.
