It was an awesome place. After we turn to go to the cabin, we saw a ton of deers in the fields. The surrounding forest is very peaceful and soothing. The cabin was very clean and tidy. All the amenities are in good condition. If given the opportunity we will come again. Thank you so much.
We really enjoyed this cabin. It was very close to a wedding we were attending. Although there were cabins nearby, we felt like it was very private. The cabin and grounds were better, in our opinion, than what was portrayed. Only 3 of us stayed there, but it could’ve easily slept another 3-5 people. My son LOVED the tree swing out back. We also enjoyed roasting hot dogs and s’mores over the fire pit. Response from the property manager was quick and friendly. Getting access was easy enough. I do wish that the porch light was turned on as we arrived after dark and it was extremely dark at first. I loved that there a library of books to read and enjoyed one of them during the stay. We also played board games that were available. It was much more well-stocked in the kitchen than we expected with cookware, service ware and even storage options like foil and plastic wrap. Wifi worked well and we were able to log in to our streaming services. Duck Creek was about 17 min away. Drive carefully at night as there were so many deer out when we arrived. Overall, we really enjoyed this cabin!
We absolutely loved this house. The location was amazing and being out off the road like that really made it a great experience. Much larger than expected. Great place for a small group or 2-3 couple times spilt. We are already talking about making another trip out and staying here again.
We left the desert for cooler weather. And wanted to get a little trail riding in. Found the cabin easily. Nice little cabin. Super comfy living room. TV service was in and out. But you really go for outdoor peace and quiet, so thats ok. Plenty music choices to hang out on the front porch with and enjoy a nice drink. Alot of places, trails to ride while still allowing residents their space.. great trip for us.
The cabin is, clean, nice, well stocked with all you need for your stay. It has a great porch for relaxing and lots of nearby trails and hikes. Very quiet spot.
We really enjoyed staying at Aspen Meadows. We will be back. One thing I would recommend is to bring paper towels, toiletries, paper plates, and any spices/oils you will need to cook with.
Really enjoyed our 8 night stay here!! This is a cozy little cabin with all the necessities. It was pretty chilly in the house when we first arrived, but the wood stove warmed the house right up!
It’s a great homebase to explore Zion & Bryce National Parks as well as the immediate area. Did a lot of hiking and 4-wheeling as we brought our razor to explore the trails here. Our old dog enjoyed sitting out on the deck watching the deer and little critters. We would definitely come back and highly recommend it!😊
Relax and slow down on the mountain at Duck Creek Village
We certainly enjoyed out stay at Aspen Meadow Cabin's very comfortable accommodations. Duck Creek Village was charming and had a bit of everything basic. Life is a bit different up on the mountain, so be aware that store and service hours in Duck Creek Village were a bit different than expected. Elevation at 8,000 feet might be a challenge for some. We noticed the difference, but also managed well enough. Even had snow on the mountain in early October. But little to worry about as kids on the mountain don't expect snow days! Come for the National Parks (Bryce and Zion are 1 hour drive away) but plan a day for exploring the mountain. We hiked around Aspen Mirror Lake and drove up to Strawberry lookout.
We were looking for somewhere that offered peace and tranquility, away from the village traffic, and this was it. We walked to the Virgin River Rim Trail and hiked that two days in a row, and enjoyed our quality time together.
