This property was perfect for our family. We have adult children and it fit everyone. The location was close to shopping. Nice views and neighborhood. Owners are kind and friendly. Great communication.
We loved our stay! About 15 minute drive to the stateline. The location was perfect for us. Cozy home! Patrick was a great host! The kids and adults enjoyed the home. Definitely would go back!
Took the family to Tahoe for a four day weekend! Excellent trip! The house was perfect for us and just the right size for four adults and one kid. We were able to hang out together by the fire and also had a big game room upstairs that you couldn't get our 6 year old out of due to all the games! The house had everything we needed and was in a great location. Communication with Patrick was excellent and check-in was a breeze! We look forward to future trips!
We booked pretty late for this trip and were not hopeful for a good spot to stay when we looked. We landed on this and it turned out to be a good choice. The place is a few miles from South Lake Tahoe but the house was very clean. Had an attic which was the perfect place for a game spot.Everything was very clean and the extra pullout bed on the couch was good too. We enjoyed the stay and hope to come back soon!
We love this cozy place for our family of five. Our oldest daughter brought a friend. So we had 6 people total. Cabin was so comfortable great for kids of all ages. Plenty of games and the foosball table was a hit! The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, knives, etc. if you like to cook.
Next time we are headed to South Tahoe we would love to stay here.
Thank you Patrick and Tiffany!
This was the first time my family and I rented a place instead of getting hotels and let me tell you... we will definitely be staying here again. Patrick and Tiffany were AMAZING hosts. They over communicate, they care, and their home was beautiful inside and out. We were so pleased with our stay and felt at home.
If you are looking for a home to rent for a vacation stay, I highly recommend Patrick and Tiffany! Besides the storm cutting our stay short it was just perfect!!
Thanks again!
I can't wait to book with you again and again!!
Our experience at Patrick and Tiffany's place was truly delightful. From the pre-check-in communication to our departure, Patrick's responsiveness and accommodation made our stay seamless. The cleanliness and ample space in the house were especially appreciated, given our group of six adults. The well-stocked and equipped kitchen, featuring everything from pots to cutlery and even basic spices, added a wonderful touch to our stay.
Overall, our time at Patrick and Tiffany's was fantastic, and we look forward to returning whenever the opportunity arises. A heartfelt thank you for hosting us and contributing to the creation of lasting memories during our winter trip.
Well let me start off with saying the home was cute. they did not provide you with any dish soap and only two laundry pods one roll of paper towels and toilet paper. so had to buy all of that. the driveway is extremely long and the property manager states only two cars can fit. not true three can fit so that's what we did. they tapped into the ring cameras and noticed we had three cars parked and he promptly texted us to tell us to correct it. we noticed the ring camera would often shine a blue night and oddly enough when we would comment on it.. it would turn off. the fridge barely stays cold and the dryer doesn't get warm. on our last night the sewer backed up into all the drains and shower. I called the property manager who was very rude, condescending and arrogant. while explain the situation to him.. he says "so what is the bathroom flooded or what." he basically told me any my family to figure it out. he tried calling plumbers and ten minutes later.. no one was available. so he said "do what you gotta do, may wanna try the casinos" no offering to comp us a night.. no offer to call the casinos and get us a room on their dollar. my entire family has to pay 500$ (3 couples so 1500) each to go find somewhere suitable to stay. (keep in mind this is a single bathroom house). Patrick has zero hospitality and understanding of how to be a host. I would not stay here.

The homeowners were surprised to read your review, as they are accustomed to providing 5-star experiences, and would like to clarify the following: "El Dorado County has imposed rules and regulations due to problematic Vacation Home Renters. Vacation Home Owners like myself, have House Rules that need to be respected by renters. I provided these simple House Rules and County Regulations to you that you stated you would comply.
-In regards to the security cameras that are only in the front of the home, they are motion activated and blue light illuminates when activated.
-Parking. I am only permitted by the County for 2 cars single file to be parked on the pavement. You violated that with 3 cars simply because there was room.
-Secondly, I have a zero-tolerance policy for smoking in or on property. Your family enjoyed their cigarettes on my deck and left the butts to be collected by someone else.
-In addition, you brought more people than you registered for again violating what our permit allows.
-Coincidentally, on night 4 at 7pm i receive a text and a picture of plumbing backed up, refrigerator and dryer not working and you want a full refund of your entire stay. I spent 30 minutes trying to request a plumber with out any success. I then suggested going to a casino for a last-minute stay and had that night refunded to you the next morning.
- My home was left by you in such disarray it needed extensive cleaning and a claim filed for damages left by you."

Great Cozy Cabin
Our visit was interrupted by a huge storm and hampered by road closures, power outages, and the general effects of 6 feet of snow in one day . The owners were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to making sure we had a safe and pleasant stay! The cabin is lovely and the game room upstairs with a fuseball table was really great for the kids and adults! I especially loved the well stocked kitchen. I highly recommend this cabin and would go back.
This is a lovely cottage on a quiet street and in a very nice neighborhood. It is very nicely appointed with everything you need including a well equipped kitchen. The game room on the second floor is great for kids, and the gas fireplace downstairs creates a warm and cozy place to relax. Has everything you need for a relaxing getaway.

Great stay
Our stay was great. The house was very clean and we felt very safe. Communication with the hosts was clear and easy. The check-out procedures weren't unreasonable, like ones we have seen at other rentals.
We come to Lake Tahoe every other year and this property was by far our favorite stay we’ve had. I honestly can’t say enough great things! The house was accurately described and Patrick/Tiffany were fantastic hosts. We loved all of the touches in the house ranging from the cute decor, adorable coffee mugs and cozy beds. We didn’t even feel like we were in a vacation rental, we felt like we were in our home. The outdoor area was a fantastic set up for our 2 year old to play. For those traveling with littles, don’t hesitate when you only see a shower for bathing - the kitchen sink was farmhouse size allowing me to bathe my son in it very easily. The house was very well stocked with TP, basic supplies, lots of towels and blankets. You will love staying here! We certainly did!
Our family of 4 enjoyed our stay in this rental. We found the location ideal, far enough away from the crowds and traffic and noise by the lake, but close enough that the short drive was not an inconvenience. There are a multitude of biking trails in the forest behind the neighborhood and delicious restaurants just down the hill. There was just enough space for our family and the beds were comfortable.

Fantastic home away from home
Where to start -- the "cabin" was great; totally picturesque and completely cozy. Had all the comforts of home. Super private location in well kept and very quiet neighborhood. Nice sized front yard, house is set back from the street so we didn't hear any cars driving past. Has a shared driveway with the neighbor which leaves limited parking for 2 cars. No big deal for us, but something to keep in mind if you have the need to park more cars, as there is no street parking available.
Inside was awesome -- gas fireplace, wall heater, comfortable chairs and furniture. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed for at-home cooking, which we totally took advantage of. Gas stove, full size refrigerator, washer/dryer.
Upstairs loft is super cool -- has tons of space, 2 single beds, a foosball table and a desk to "work" at. The kids loved it.
Downstairs bedrooms were very spacious, very clean. Single bathroom was a good size and there were more than enough towels to go around.
We didn't feel like anything was lacking. Just a great place to rent, with awesome hosts who were communicative ahead of time and made sure to set us up with all the special instructions we needed in order to have a stress free stay.
This was the perfect home for a family weekend away. Very very clean, lots of room, and we appreciated the nice design touches through the space! Instead of feeling like a generic rental it feels like you are at a friends house. Highly recommend!
Great location close to Casino and grocery store and gas station. We went for New Years had lots of snow. Were able to sled just down the street it was just amazing..
The only bad part was we only had one roll of toilet paper left for us and the house was a bit dusty .. but other then that it was great !!
It’s great to be close to town, beach, entertainment, trails. Too bad we had to cut our stay short because of wild fires nearby. Air quality was getting worse. House owners was very generous giving us partial refund for shorter stay. Very nice of them.
We will defiantly return to his house again, hopefully in the winter.

Cute little cottage in Myers
There was plenty of room in this two bedroom one bathroom house for a family of four(and an upstairs loft with two additional twin beds). The bathroom could’ve been cleaned better upon arrival. It smelled of urine and the baseboards looked soiled with urine.

Hi Brandy, thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We shared your feedback with the homeowners, and they were surprised by your comments regarding the cleanliness. The owners make cleanliness and sanitation top priorities, and they work with a cleaning company that also has high cleanliness standards. We wish you had reached out to the owners during your stay if there were any issues. They would have done everything we could to resolve them immediately so that you could enjoy the home.
