Hi Terry, Thank you for the 5-Star review! We are so glad you had a wonderful time staying with us and look forward to seeing you again. Sincerely, The Staff at Northern Michigan Escapes

Thank you for your thoughtful 8/10 review of Pointes North Inn, Suite 107. We’re delighted you enjoyed the unbeatable downtown Charlevoix location and found it easy to walk to local restaurants, boutique shops, the marina, and Lake Michigan beaches. The convenience of being just steps from the famous drawbridge, the Pine River Channel, and waterfront dining is one of the many reasons guests love staying with us. We’re also glad the after-hours check-in process went smoothly, as we strive to make arrival simple and stress-free for every guest through clear communication and secure keyless entry. We appreciate your comments regarding the furnishings and bedding. While the king bed in this suite features a quality coil mattress, we understand that comfort preferences can vary, and some guests prefer memory foam. We continuously work with individual condo owners to update furniture and bedding to meet guest expectations for both style and comfort. Your note about the couch being worn is also helpful feedback and has been shared with our property management team for evaluation and replacement consideration. It’s great to hear you found the accommodations clean, comfortable, and well-equipped for your visit. Pointes North Inn’s suites are designed to feel like a home away from home, offering full kitchens or kitchenettes, private balconies or screened-in porches, and on-site amenities including a pool and hot tub—all managed by Northern Michigan Escapes to ensure consistency and care. We’re thrilled you would describe your stay as pleasant overall and appreciate your balanced review. Your feedback helps us continue improving guest satisfaction, property updates, and maintenance standards. We hope you’ll return soon to experience future improvements and enjoy another relaxing Charlevoix getaway with Northern Michigan Escapes at Pointes North Inn.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear the condo did not meet your expectations and that your stay was cut short due to a family emergency. We appreciate you bringing these concerns to our attention. The unfinished caulking and concern about the shower condition are items that should have been addressed before arrival, and we understand why that would leave a poor impression. We will follow up with our housekeeping and maintenance teams to make sure the shower is properly reviewed, completed, and cleaned to the standard guests should expect. We’re also sorry the condo felt dated and that the TVs did not meet your expectations. Guest comfort matters, and feedback like this is helpful as we continue evaluating areas where updates would improve the overall experience. Thank you as well for noting the dishwasher and kitchen organization. Clean dishes should be put away before arrival, and the kitchen should be easy for guests to use. We’ll review the setup to make sure silverware, dishes, and storage areas are clearly organized for future stays. We regret that this visit was disappointing and appreciate you taking the time to share the details. Your comments help us identify what needs attention and where we can do better moving forward.

Thank you for sharing your kind words about your recent stay and your experience with our team at Pointes North Inn. Providing warm, welcoming, and attentive service to guests of all ages is something we truly value, and it’s wonderful to know that our staff helped make your visit even more enjoyable. We hope your family created special memories during your time in Charlevoix, and we look forward to welcoming you and your grandsons back for another stay filled with great moments and friendly service.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're glad to hear that you enjoyed the fantastic location and that the housekeeping staff did a great job keeping the unit clean. However, we apologize for the worn furniture in the living room and the dated bathroom and ceilings. We appreciate your acknowledgment of the updates the owners have made and will be sure to pass along your suggestions for further improvements. Your feedback is valuable, and we’ll work on making the necessary updates to enhance the guest experience. We hope you'll consider staying with us again in the future. Thank you!

Thank you for taking the time to share this, and I’m really sorry your experience ended up being about the drive instead of the stay itself. Safety absolutely comes first, and I completely understand your decision not to continue traveling with the road conditions you described. You’re right that our current policy is strict when it comes to cancellations close to arrival, and I understand how, in a weather situation like this, that can feel disappointing and inflexible. The policy is in place so we can reliably staff, clean, and reserve the home for each guest, but your point about a partial refund or future credit “going a long way” is very fair. Feedback like yours is exactly what we use when we review how we handle severe-weather scenarios going forward. I truly appreciate you noting that communication with us was great and that the property itself looked appealing, even though you didn’t get to enjoy it. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us directly so we can review your reservation specifics and see what options we may have for a future stay. I’m genuinely sorry this trip didn’t work out as planned and appreciate you giving us constructive feedback rather than just walking away frustrated.

HI Ruth, Thank you for your feedback. We apologize that the unit was not up to par. I will let the owner of that unit know your feelings about the couch and tv. Each unit gets inspected and then inspected again in order to meet our extreme standards. I am thinking what you saw was discoloration from the water. We definitely will make sure to work on that stain better. We would love for you to give us another chance. Charlynn

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We're sorry to hear that the experience didn’t meet your expectations, and we sincerely apologize for any confusion caused by the description. We understand how noise from the street, A/C, and neighbors can affect your stay, and we regret that this impacted your comfort. We also acknowledge your concerns about the value and will review both the description and pricing to ensure they align with guest expectations moving forward. We appreciate your honesty and will take your comments seriously as we work to improve. Thank you again for your feedback.
