Sunrise House is located on the pristine waters of the Princess Royal Harbour, the perfect setting for a relaxing holiday. Enjoy stunning water and sunrise views from the comfort of your lazyboy in the lounge, resting on the king size bed in the master bedroom, having a bite to eat in the spacious dining room, cooking in the well-equipped kitchen, and sipping a coffee or enjoying a sundowner on the covered verandah. You may even spot a pod of dolphins frolicking!
Watch the activity in the distant Port of Albany where ships and cruise liners dock, and in the evening, enjoy the relections of Albany's night lights on the still water.
The Sunrise House backyard is fully enclosed and secure parking for your vehicles is available onsite. With accommodation for up to 9 guests, spacious living areas, and a cosy fireplace for the colder winter days, Sunrise House has so much to offer! Its location in quiet Little Grove is perfect also for families, with access to a little local beach along Chipana Drive and local playgrounds near the Little Grove Primary School, and Gull Park on Paulas Way.
Local attractions are within an easy 10 minute drive of Sunrise House: the Albany CBD with cafés and restaurants, the National ANZAC Centre on Mount Clarence, Middleton Beach with its beautiful playground and picnic areas as well as cafés, restaurants and takeaway venues, and Lake Seppings brimming with natural beauty and abundant bird life, to name but a few.
On the Frenchman Bay Peninsula Sunrise House provides access to iconic natural scenery: The Gap and Natural Bridge, the Blow Holes, and the Historic Whaling Station highlights some of Albany's significant history while showcasing local artists and an opportunity to take home a valuable souvenir or just a small reminder of your stay in Albany.
Other natural attractions include the stunning beaches of the southwest. Ask your host for a web link to find the best beaches for the weather conditions.
Other attractions for those who enjoy hiking, are available in the nearby Torndirrup National Park, and further afield in the Porongurups or Stirling Ranges. There is so much to see and experience! Perfect position starring the view

Close to everything, history, nature. Connie was so helpful when my husband needed a physio urgently, both coming in with heat cream and a hot bag. Enormous kitchen, beautiful welcome pack including coffee, eggs and bacon. Would highly reccommend Did I mention the view? !

We thoroughly enjoyed our time spent at Sunrise House. We arrived to a beautiful ambiance, fire had been lit, food in the fridge and it was in pristine condition. There was a very homely vibe and the views were spectacular. Thank you Connie for communicating with us during our stay and being accessible if we required anything. A little gem

An absolutely beautiful spot in Albany looking over the water and a cosy home away from home. It was the small things that really impressed us. For example, little treat's, fresh produce on arrival, cleanliness, and the fireplace going ready for our arrival. We will be booking again!

The sunrise was amazing!

Albany weather being what it is, we didn't see the sunrise until our last morning. It really was spectacular - and right across the water from the house. From our arrival (to a warm and welcoming wood fire) to our departure (a very chilly morning) we found Sunrise a lovely place to stay. Heaps of room, well equipped, and an amazing welcome pack! Including fresh fruit! Jurien and Connie were so responsive, and helpful, even though we didn't have any problems we always felt we were being looked after. Everything was so comfortable, there were books and magazines, heaps of television channels and oh! the view was to die for. All the instructions were clear, and nothing was left to chance. We will be back!

A lovely spacious house for a group of friends or 2 families

While the obvious winning point about the house is the view from the living and dining rooms, the comfy beds, big kitchen and backyard are also worth mentioning. Connie the host is lovely and makes sure you have everything you need for the stay. The house is about 10 mins drive from Albany town centre, but there is a well stocked general store about 1 min drive away and you are also close to The Gap, Bald Head and the whaling station. I recommend it as a peaceful, scenic place to stay.

Chilling out !

We were a group of five adults who have travelled together extensively over the years. We had many activities planned for our stay in Albany - most of which we achieved. However, we found ourselves returning to “Sunrise House” and simply “chilling out” with the wonderful views across Princess Royal Harbour. The accommodation was very comfortable, a great location and maintained to an extraordinary level by our hosts Connie and Jurien. We would have no hesitation in recommending Sunrise House.
