Sunset Palms Dockside Retreat is a charming 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home with Gulf access and a private boat dock in a central SE Cape Coral location. Just off Del Prado Blvd, this home puts guests within quick reach of shopping, restaurants, and open water. The home is a great fit for boaters, families, or pet owners looking for a well-located base for their Cape Coral stay.

Sunset Palms Dockside Retreat sits in a central area of Cape Coral, with quick access to downtown shopping, restaurants, and a short boat ride out to open water. It's roughly 25-30 minutes to Fort Myers Beach via the Midpoint Bridge, 20-25 minutes by boat to Sanibel Island, 20 minutes to Shell Point, 15 minutes to Cape Harbour, and about 40 minutes to Pine Island and Matlacha. A small park with a boat launch sits just a mile from the home. On land, guests can also enjoy nearby Four Mile Cove Ecological Preserve and Rotary Park with walking trails and kayak rentals.

Sleeping Arrangements

- Bedroom 3: Two full-size bunk beds, with overhead lighting in place of a fan for added safety.

The main living space comes complete with a foosball table, streaming TV, dining table, wet bar, and Xbox console. The fully stocked kitchen is ready for home-cooked meals with family or friends. There is an additional living room with cozy seating and another dining table. High-speed internet is available throughout the home.

The screened pool deck is a highlight of your stay, with outdoor seating, pool toys and floats, and an outdoor TV surrounding an electric heated pool. Guests can control the pool heat to their liking throughout the stay. The accessible boat dock offers waterfront views on a gulf access canal, making it easy to head out for a day on the water right from the home.

Rates & Policies
- The base rate includes up to 4 guests with a small fee for extra guests.
- Up to one small dog (20 lbs or under) is permitted with prior approval and a pet fee. No cats are permitted.
- The garage and master bedroom closet are not available for guest use.
- Initial supply of consumables (toilet paper, dishwasher detergent and soap, paper towels, hand soap, garbage bags) is provided for the first 3 days of your stay.
- A prepaid electric charge is included in your reservation.
- Guests are responsible for providing their own propane. There is a propane tank at the home, but the level of gas is not monitored by the property manager.

Cape Coral Retreat!

We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation week at this awesome home! Roomy, comfortable…awesome pool, quiet setting with canal view too! Bedrooms had comfy beds, plenty of TV's, great outdoor spaces, kitchen well appointed too. Washer/dryer so nice to have! Loved it here and would stay again..thank you!

We really enjoyed our stay. Love the bike lane to walk and jog. The convience of grocery stores and shopping. Beach is close. The accommodations of the home made our stay exceptional. The decor made you feel like you were at the beach. Short, easy drive to the airport. Loved our stay, and very hopeful we will be back.

Great location perfect what we needed

We love the layout of the house the pool was great heated, especially for when we went because it was chilly and raining the whole time but we were able to jump in the pool once in a while. Property manager was great. The only problem we had was Internet, because there was an issue with the line outside other than that we enjoyed it. !

Our Favorite Home away from Home

This is our favorite house to stay at for family vacations. The location is perfect and easily accessible to all areas. We really enjoy the pool. The beautiful dock to have our morning coffee on the canal. We have seen manatees, turtles, iguanas, lizards, and fish. The lanai is perfect for hanging out grilling, and watching tv in the evenings. There is plenty of space in the home and the layout is wonderful. We love all the upgrades the owner has done in the last year. They provide many amenities. We recommend this house as the perfect vacation spot! Easily 5 stars!!! 3 stays and we will most definitely be back!!

This house is literally just exactly as every single photo you view even better in person! Central located to all kinds of great places to visit, but even leaving this place is hard to do it's relaxing yet entertaining. The Italian leather HUGE sectionals in both living rooms are superb. I really like the way the entire place is laid out. Has a ton of room! With an outside lanai with all kinds of seating and another outdoor sectional with huge TV there! The owners really pay attention to anything that needs addressed. The first stay I didn't care for the kitchen sink. Since then installed now is this brand new HUGE gorgeous farmhouse sink!! There isn't enough I can say about how great this place is! Except experience for yourself.

Transitional stay from Hurricane Ian to a new apartment

This is a great house even with some damage from Hurricane Ian. Minor issues were handled really quickly by the property manager (Florian). Amazing comfortable beds!! Would definitely recommend this place.

Beachy Vibes!

This was such a wonderful property to stay at! From the cleanliness of the home, pool, and yard, to the amenities available! It was very thoughtful to include pool toys and floats, as well as board games and video games for our kiddos. The beds were great! We HIGHLY recommend staying here!! It was spacious, clean, fun, and close to everything! Five out of five stars!!

Great Location

Great location with easy access to everything you may need. Home and pool were as seen in ad. Down side was the lack of creature comforts such as lounge chairs around pool, futons used in p;ace of sofas, no closet space in master bedroom due to use by owner, garage is also used by home owner, poor cleaning job between renters.
