This newly renovated gorgeous 1830s cottage is full of charm and character, with an open plan kitchen and dining room, bathroom/ laundry with separate toilet, formal lounge, 3 generous sized bedrooms and a beautiful sunroom.
The Space:
"Bakers Cottage" is rich in history yet has a very homely feel that is both in keeping with the time, comfortable and convenient.
There are 3 Bedrooms - 2 Queen beds one bedroom with 2 King Singles beds. We can also provide a portable cot and highchair for infants on request.
A large airy kitchen with all modern conveniences, including dishwasher and microwave.
A comfy lounge room with TV and free WiFi.
The bathroom provides towels and all toiletries, as well as a front loading washing machine for laundry needs.
Step out of the open plan kitchen onto newly laid paving and enjoy alfresco dining complete with BBQ and garden views. The surrounding gardens truly complement the cottage with a mixture of nectarine, apricot, peach, fuji apple, granny smith, pink lady apple, mandarin, lime, lemon, orange, redcurrant and bay trees.
Ample off street parking is provided for multiple vehicles.
Guest Access:
Guests have full use of the home for the duration of their stay.

Richmond is one of Tasmania's most popular visitor destinations, showcasing Tasmanian colonial heritage at every turn. Heritage-listed buildings and features are found on almost every street, so that even a casual evening stroll offers insights into early colonial life.
Richmond Village is situated in the Coal River Valley, one of Australia's first food bowls supplying new settlers in Tasmania. Agricultural enterprises continue to this day, supplying local chefs and cooks with a abundance of meats, berries, stone-fruit, vegetables, chocolate, honey and dairy products to accompany the region's famous wines, ciders and beers.
Deciding whether it’s a long Sunday lunch or a cosy fireside dinner, options abound. Relax whilst someone else cooks for you, pack your own picnic and head down to the Village Green, or perhaps a BBQ at home the cottage
Getting Around:
A car is a must, but there is a bus service that travels to and from Richmond to Hobart, timetable information available online. Uber and Taxis are also available.
