As advertised. My only issue is the significant inconvenience of the ferry. If you plan to stay on the island and rarely leave, all is good. If you plan for daily excursions, the ferry to and from is a major inconvenience.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts and for confirming that the home was as advertised. The island offers a unique getaway, and we understand that ferry access is an important consideration for guests planning frequent trips off the island. Clear expectations around transportation are important when planning a stay, and we appreciate you highlighting this aspect for future guests. We’re glad you enjoyed the property and had the opportunity to experience all that the island has to offer.
Secluded setting, beautiful well-maintained house, clean and spacious. Hope to go back soon. Recommend bringing extra firewood and water in case of power outage.
This was a great remote location for a family vacation. Because of the recent closure of the general store, it does create a bit more remoteness. Maybe a better equipped kitchen or letting the guests know what they need to bring, i.e., foil, plastic wrap and coffee pods and more kitchen trash bags. Maybe this should be spelled out to the guests in greater detail as there is no place to buy these. That being said, It's a great place. My grandkids loved making the trek down to the water and spent hours beachcombing! The bathrooms are small and the 2nd one needs updating. We loved the big, long dining table and spent hours playing games! We also spent hours on the lawn playing the frisbee game! Thanks so much!
Great view of the sound and loved the beach access. Sunsets were phenominal. Ferry schedule was a little tough to navigate, but it was around July 4th. The place allowed the great breeze to keep the cabin cool.

Comfy stay - responsive host
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was comfortable. And the host was available to help us with any questions. The views of Puget Sound were great - we could see Orcas in the distance. The provided kayaks were nice to have. Also enjoyed the fire pit. A very beautiful spot.
We couldn’t imagine a more beautiful property for our stay on Anderson island. The house is clean and has all of the needed amenities. The hot tub was a nice addition to sleepy mornings and restful evenings. We would book again in a heartbeat.
Our second time staying here and loved it! It’s so quiet and secluded with a gorgeous view. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the property is adorable. Took one star off of cleanliness due to the hot tub being a little murky, but it didn’t detract from our overall stay.
We booked our stay here for my son’s 16th birthday and we had an incredible and relaxing weekend. This cabin has all the amenities plus more. The surf shack was a fun hang out spot for the teens at night. We will never forget our memories made here relaxing by the fire, kayaking and just enjoying nature. Thank you so much!
We needed an escape and this place was exactly that. It was beautiful, clean, quiet, and clearly thoughtfully designed. We spent so much time down at the beach with the kids and even brought the kayaks out. We will be coming back
The house was great and was everything we were expecting from online. The host was so accommodating and helpful. Communication was great and clear!! Definitely would go back again and would recommend to anyone wanting to find a place that is relaxing, clean, on the beach, safe and comfortable

Mom’s Trip
A great weekend away for a group of mom friend’s. We had a couple issues that the owners took care of almost immediately. The beds were very comfortable. We would totally recommend staying here! Just know there are LOTS of stairs (over 100) to get to the beach. But worth it!

Just perfect for a long weekend getaway! Absolutely zero complaints. I would highly recommend.
The home is so welcoming! Pictures do not do it justice. Everything was so easy no issues at all.
We enjoyed our spring break stay! We had the best of all weather.. sun, rain, fog and all. The hot tub was a great feature during all of it. Loved the view, and really could envision living here. Thanks for an amazing time
