The property is positioned on 5 acres of manicured gardens and lawn on a quiet no through road . ‘The Millfield Art Gallery’ is located in Millfield and is approximately a 15 minutes drive between Wollombi and the famous Hunter Valley Vineyards in Pokolbin.

The studio is connected to the main residence with a communal back door which also has a doggy door for the owners dog … The guests privacy is respected at all times.

Cute place, lovely setting

Quiet and remote location backing onto lots of bushland and wonderful setting to watch the sunset. But still pretty convenient to drive to Cessnock/Pokolbin and around. Carole is very lovely and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable, her artwork is amazing too! Thank you! Would recommend

Quiet sunny retreat

We enjoyed our short stay here in the art studio. Comfortable Q size bed in large bedroom (not really shown in photos), compact kitchenette had a surprisingly large array of equipment. Carole is friendly and accomodating. We went away with eggs and strawberries from her small property. No traffic or other noise so an ideal tranquil hideaway.

Lovely and easy

We had a lovely stay at the Millfield gallery. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, the owner was very accommodating and it was lovely to be surrounded by her art. We will definitely book here again next time we're in the Hunter Valley

Carole Mc Donald was the sweetest, most wonderful host.

Millfield is a sleepy quiet town town in lower Hunter Valley. The accommodation was fabulous, a cozy art filled room off from main residence. Carole and her caboodle “Curly” were very welcoming, so much so we felt like family at end of stay. Carole will inspire you to live your best life.
