Lovely, clean, with modern renovations. Beds were very comfortable and the provision of additional bedding was helpful with the cooler weather. We appreciated the warm lighting options with the lamps, which added to the cosy atmosphere. Would recommend to friends.
Lovely traditional cottage with some nice touches from the host. Centrally located in Cessnock. All you need from a home away from home plus more. Lovely place.
Fabulous accommodation, beautifully presented. All amenities were of a very high standard. Perfect for attending a family wedding in The Hunter. Loved the quirky features of the decor. Thank you Anita
Pollyanna was just like the pictures. Beautifully decorated with a homey feel. Quite, convenient, and easily located within a few minutes drive of the shops and restaurants. Place was clean, beds comfy, showers warm, and lots of heavy running water (meaning not sprinklerly weak showers). It was like a cosy home away from home.
To break up our journey from Sydney to the Sunshine Coast we decided on a stopover in the Hunter Valley. 'Polyanna' guesthouse looked very appealing at an online search and did not disappoint. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed our one night stay. The property was clean and centrally located in an easy to find quiet neighborhood in the Hunter Valley. Check out time of 11:00am provided flexibility for our schedule which was appreciated. Check in and check out processes were easy and straightforward. The property is on the older side and yet bathrooms and kitchen have been recently remodeled. Beds and living room couches were comfortable. We would stay here again if back in the area.
Was perfect for our needs. It had all the essentials, beds were comfortable, quiet area and totally flat once in the house. Perfect for our 93 year old mother. The ensuite ( we brought a few aids with us) was roomy and well suited for her mobility needs.
We had an immediate overnight plan to go around Hunter valley and booked this property online. We were very impressed when we reached there. The beds weee cozy and comfortable. The surround was quiet, peaceful and clean. Overall, we loved our stay and would recommend to stay that the property.
Loved our stay in this house. So clean and nicely appointed. Modern and obviously well renovated. Great Italian restaurant up the road. Had all the conveniences you could need. Very quiet area. Would seriously stay here again.
We stayed here recently as a base for exploring the a hunter. Such a gorgeous house and meticulously clean. We would definitely stay again and hope the amazing standards can be maintained. Short Uber ride to many wineries. Great pub within walking distance too. Thank you!
House is very well done. Very nice bathrooms and kitchen. Beds very comfy. Good quality towels. Everything very very clean and well presented. Anita was a pleasure to deal with
The house was immaculate, welcoming and stunning. My brother and his wife were over from the UK and I came down from Brisbane. We were all really impressed with the quality and cleanliness. The owner was brilliant with her communications. Would definitely stay again if I go down to Hunter Valley. Highly recommend.
The house is lovely, clean and inviting the only down side is that we had a terrible sleep as all the pillows in the cottage were super hard and extremely thick. I tried sleeping without a pillow which was not great. So the only note I’d make is to maybe have some options there.
