Originally started as a summer resort destination, Steamboat has become renowned for its world-class skiing and mountain biking options. And your Steamboat vacation rental will put your family in the middle of it all.
Winter activities include skiing, snowmobiling, snowboarding, biking, sledding and fishing. The city houses two ski areas – Steamboat and Howelsen Hill, Colorado's oldest continuously operated ski area. Or simply play in the smooth, dry snow, referred to as Champagne Powder, for which Steamboat is known.
Mountain biking is huge in Steamboat. Known as Bike Town USA, the city has trails for all ages and skill levels. Hundreds of miles of single track, as well as over 50 miles of downhill and freeride terrain.
** In March 2020 when the resort shut down, we gave refunds for any unused nights and would do that again.

Very comfortable and served all of our needs. Free bus stop to ski mountain right down the street. Quiet area. We brought our dog and there is a walking path right outside the townhouse. Enjoyed our stay. Thumbs up. Maybe upgrade the toilets. Old and low.

Property was about a 10 minute drive from downtown and 7 minutes from the gondola. Perfect location, awesome trail right out front that was great for dog walking. Comfortable beds too!

Convenient pet-friendly digs
Comfortable spot right on three of the free bus lines that bring you to the mountain. The management firm were a dream to work with, too - very quick responses and accommodating.
The property had everything needed to cook at home and bbq we enjoyed the backyard patio. But we needed to have extra precautions with bees around the porch since we have family members with allergies.

We're glad you overall enjoyed your stay, any property can get bees during the spring blooms but we will try and keep a better eye on them
We wanted to be close to downtown but not too close, so was perfect for that. Would be a good location for skiing too. Liked the main area and having pond in back (rather than a building or road). Limited but essential kitchen supplies. No AC, but stayed cool enough. Had a great time!

We're glad you had a nice time, if there's anything we can ever do to earn your 5 stars please let us know!
This was a great condo for our family, the size was perfect. There was plenty of space for our family of 5. Not the cleanest, empty cans by the front door and garbage left on the back patio. It was rather bare bones with no extra blankets or pillows and there were no tissues. Otherwise this place was great.

Hi Laura, thank you for your feedback. We're glad Indian Meadows Townhome B5 was a good fit for your family, but we sincerely apologize for the cleanliness issues and lack of extra amenities. Your comments are valuable, and we’ll work to improve these areas. We appreciate your understanding and hope to welcome you back for a better experience!
Stayed with 8 adults in this wonderful townhome for a ski vacation. All fit comfortably although not a large living room for lounging but we just brought chairs over from the dining table or sat at the dining table to eat and play games. House was clean and had all the needed items in the bathrooms and kitchen. Great location close to the Steamboat Transit bus to take us to the mountain. Less than a 10min drive to downtown as well. Overall would stay again and recommend to others.

Thank you Nicole for the review of Indian Meadows Townhome B5. We are could not be more pleased that the Townhome worked well for your party of 8 and that you enjoyed the many amenities. Thank you for the recommendation. iTrip Steamboat
The condo is well laid out, plenty of room, kitchen is well organized and usable, parking is easy. Great place to stay for our ski time, we just drove to the nearby shuttle lot. Although we did not bring our dogs, it is nice that this is available for people with pets. The only drawback was that the showers don't have a lot of water pressure.

Great location with all the necessities
Our stay at the Indian Meadows Townhome was perfect! It had all our necessities covered... ease of travel on the bus route to and from the slopes and downtown. You could even walk to the slopes if you wanted! There was plenty of storage for skis and boots as well! The bathrooms had plenty of towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The kitchen had a basic necessities for family dinners. The complex was peaceful and loved the lake view off the back patio. Our group agreed we would definitely stay again!
This condo was perfect for our family of 4. Minutes from everything. Great communication with owner/property management. My one issue was not enough comfortable seating in the family room. Need another couch or more seating for movie watching etc. Otherwise great condo!

We're thrilled to enjoy you enjoyed your time up here, we will certainly pass the notes along about the seating
Our group included 7 adults and 2 dogs. We initially had 5 adults and easily accommodated two more. Everything worked. Location was great for the dogs. It was a quiet location with the dog/walking path directly out the front door. The living room area is a bit tight and the chairs aren't very comfortable. We had humans lying on the dog beds while watching a movie. HAHA! As in a previous review, if you are picky about knives, bring your own. Also if you want a good nonstick pan to make eggs, bring that too. Otherwise met our needs well. We would stay here again.

Hi Tracy! Thank you for your detailed review! We’re glad to hear that everything worked and that you enjoyed the location. We appreciate your feedback on the living room seating and kitchen utensils, and we’ll take it into consideration for future improvements. It’s great to know that everything else met your needs and that you’d consider staying with us again. We’d love to host you and your group in the future!
This property was clean and in a great location. The property manager responded promptly to our concerns overall. I would say this would be a cozy property for 8 people though. We had three adults and two kids aged 12 and 15 for 3 nights and it was fine, but I wouldn't stay any longer. While this property sleeps 8, I cannot imagine spending any length of time with more people in this property between the space in general and the bathrooms. Overall it is a good deal for the price and location, just don't get too many people in there.

Thanks so much for the review! We are glad you enjoyed your stay and the amenities and we look forward to seeing you again!
House is great for 8 or less. Kitchen had the basics. Bring a sharp knife if you need to cut anything… the few there were dull. For the price I expected a little “more” from the house in general.
Neighbors seemed to “check on us” by walking by and staring in. They didn’t even say hello when I greeted them.
Check in and all communication was easy breezy

We're glad you overall had a good time. We will check out those knives and kitchen supplies
We booked the apartment for 2 weeks to accommodate adults and children under 3. We only stayed 1 week and moved to another location in Steamboat. The rugs in the apartment curled up at the corners creating tripping hazards for the children. There was tile for the kitchen that was higher than the living/dining area, also creating tripping hazards for the toddlers. The stairs to the 2nd floor bedrooms were steep with short steps creating problems for our 14 year old dog to navigate. For a large family, the bathrooms were small. The back porch was high and had no step to get to the ground. We stayed a week, but it was not what we expected.

I'm sorry to hear this spot didn't work well for you, we certainly wanted you folks to be comfortable. We always have guest services around we likely could have fixed these in the moment if you had let us know. Please do consider giving us another try
We enjoyed our week long stay! The kids enjoyed the pond in the backyard. It’s is not a pond you would get in and swim though. Since there is a pond, the mosquitoes were horrible in the backyard.
The house is spacious and great for 2 families. The beds were comfortable and the showers were nice. Plenty of towels and shampoo/conditioner were provided for our stay. They also provided big box fans for each room to help with the CO summer heat.
The house is an easy drive to town and has a hike/bike path right by the parking lot. The River also runs close by the house.
We brought our dog and house provided a water/food bowl. Very thoughtful of them!
Would recommend this house for friends and families to stay at!
Great location being about 3 miles from the center of downtown Steamboat right along a bike path (bike ride takes about 15 - 20 min from townhome to town). The property was clean and stocked with all of the creature comforts our group needed. Pro tip - the pond right out of the backdoor is gorgeous but comes with a strong umber of mosquitos - bring bug spray!
The condo was super clean and had great utensils for any cooking that we needed to do. Things have definitely been updated throughout. It’s a short bus ride or drive to the ski hill. Great value!
