This house is set up perfectly. It seemed like there was a little surprise around every corner. I really love the decor and the peace of the property. Our dogs enjoyed exploring the yard. Unfortunately the weekend we were there it was pretty stormy. But we were able to cozy up on the couch watch a movie and even sit out on the covered deck. The view is beautiful. The house was very well equipped. My only feedback was that although the check-in was very simple I was a bit confused on knowing clear directions with the driveway. I read some reviews so I reached out and they did give me directions. But I would’ve loved to have that information before just in case I had headed straight up and not been able to get a hold of anyone. I definitely recommend you stay for a weekend away. We took a drive and got lost in all the cute little towns around.
We had a great stay. The place is very clean and well kept. Would love to come back again and bring some friends with us. Close to town but far enough where you get to enjoy the outdoors without hearing cars all the time. Definitely recommend
We really needed a quiet relaxing location to retreat to when we were not working on the event in Sutter Creek, and this was perfect. Other than the showers that were built for 5ft or shorter, lol, we really enjoyed our stay.
We were so impressed with this property. Location was awesome (although we did get a little lost getting there). Loved the home. The wrap around deck was incredible. Sitting outside drinking coffee/wine was so incredibly quiet. No traffic sounds, no people. We would definitely stay again.

Great
We had a great time, beautiful home beautiful area, my daughter had the best 21st birthday ever, the only thing was we didn’t get to get in until 3:40 because the cleaning lady was there, other then that it was perfect for us, would love to go back in April for a week, love waking up to the deers and the turkeys, it will be a getaway we will definitely have and we made beautiful memories, thank you
Overall a lovely stay, the house is comfortable and well supplied. Beds and bedrooms excellent. The fire pit and decks looked so inviting but we didn’t have time to take advantage of them. The only glitch was that a friend in a small car got stuck on a gravel path near the house. The property manager was very responsive to all my questions, and specifically agreed that the driving directions needed to be more specific. Use the paved driveway!
We had an amazing stay here! The house was cozy, charming, and had such a welcoming, homey feel. The views were absolutely stunning—perfect for relaxing and spending quality time together. The space and layout made it easy for everyone to feel comfortable, and the environment around the home was peaceful and just what we were looking for.The only hiccup we had was with the lack of signage at the entrance. It wasn't clear which driveway led to the home, and unfortunately, we ended up turning onto the wrong one. We got stuck and, at one point, nearly rolled down the mountain. Thankfully, a family member was in town and helped tow us out safely.Despite that scary moment, once we arrived, everything was perfect. A small sign or clearer directions would go a long way in preventing confusion for future guests. We truly loved our stay and would absolutely return!

Blissfully quiet getaway
We wanted to escape the craziness of the urban environment for the fourth of July week and this home was perfect. It was hotter than it usually is in the area but the fabulous AC and comfy couches made staying inside perfectly comfortable. Thanks to Sabrina who met us and made us and our dogs feel very welcome. I enjoyed that the upstairs kitchen /living room area was free of a TV. I was looking for peace and quiet for a week, and that was exactly what we got. Just a note for people bringing dogs, there isn't an enclosed yard which wasn't a problem, it's just good to know. We'll be back. Comfortable furniture and quality linens.

our stay
The house is great minus a few thing. There is zero water pressure even when the well kicks on. google maps takes you to the wrong side of the house to get in so best to give instruction on how to get to the proper drive way when sending out other instructions. Its a very sketchy road on the other side and luckily we all had 4 wheel drive vehicle. But its easy to go the wrong way at night.
Juan was great at answering question so no issues with host. Beds were comfortable.

Response from VrboOwner on 6 July 2023
From the owners: " Tina, Thank you for choosing to stay in our home and leaving a review, as guest feedback is vitally important to us and the success of our vacation rental business. We wish you had reached out during your stay so we could find out what you meant by "minus a few things", as we pride ourselves in providing a wide array of items that our guests love. There are instructions on how to access the home provided and signs that say to use a paved driveway, but we are sorry for the evening drive you experienced. We truly go above and beyond for our guests and are confident that future guests will have excellent stays!"
Overall it was good. For extended stays you will need to bring your own paper towels and or toilet paper. Only provide one paper towel and a few rolls toilet paper. Be careful when opening the front door it is a very heavy door and swings fast, there is no door stop from hitting the wall. Very cute decor. Only basic necessity’s provided in the kitchen. I’m super picky about
cleanliness. It wasn’t perfect but pretty clean. Beds were comfy. The towels smelled a bit funky. Other than that everything was fine.

Beautiful Property, Feels like Home
This rental was very nice and felt like home. There is plenty of space and and you can see deer roam the fields when you utilize either patio for your morning coffee. There is a drip brewer and keruig to use depending on how many people you have. There is a market nearby that has a lot of food and supplies for anything forgotten. The propane pit on the patio and the real fire pit were great amenities. We stayed in the fall and the linens and blankets were plenty warm and comfortable. The kitchen has tons of cooking utensils, pots/pans to use and the fridge and freezer were clean and had a ton of space to utilize. We stayed in the area for a wedding and were very happy to be able to cook and prepare snacks while playing board games and hanging out with friends and family.Traveling can be stressful, but this property was serene and relaxing. We would absolutely stay here again. Thank you!
The house was very nice and clean. The location was perfect for traveling to Black Chasm Cavern and Indian Grinding Rock.
Our overall stay was enjoyable with the following exceptions:
1-A broom and mop would have been nice to have to help with crumbs and spills.
2-An additional toilet paper roll in each bathroom would have been nice.
3-The sign indicating that the gravel road should be avoided needs painting as you can't read very well from the car.
4-A cheese grater would have help when making our pizza.
