The location is perfect. Just a few minutes walk from downtown. The cottage is a beautiful and very clean with everything you need including a guitar, which we loved. The outside sitting area is perfect for the evenings. The host Julie was very kind and answered my messages immediately. I would definitely recommend Blythe Cottage if you are staying in the Hendersonville area.

Thank you Jennifer for your wonderful review from your experience staying at Historic Blythe Cottage. We warmly welcome you back again soon.
The place was all I could have hoped for. I would definitely stay again and am hoping to next summer. I particularly loved the pergola. I spent all of one rainy day out there reading. We ate out there for most of our dinners. We were there for 4 nights with my husband, me, our grown son and his 14 year old daughter. Everybody loved the accomodations. There was a plethora of dishes, mugs, serving dishes, cooking supplies to choose from. I cannot say a bad thing about the place including the next door neighbor who I met while she was watering her flowers and she told me the history of her house and the house we were staying in. I loved being on a residential street similar to the one I grew up on in Minnesota. So close to downtown and all the things downtown Hendersonville has to offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay...

We enjoyed hosting Michelle over Christmas 2021. Michelle and her family were wonderful guests at our brand new vacation home in Downtown Hendersonville-
Historic Blythe Cottage.
Blythe Cottage was perfect for a weeklong stay in Hendersonville. Great neighborhood, perfect for walking and close to town. The cottage was very clean and well stocked. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen appliances new. The outside seating area is nice and somewhat protected from rain. My only knock might be that living room furniture wasn’t very comfortable.

Everything about this place was perfect for us. The house is so charming. We loved the covered outdoor gathering spot, the huge kitchen, the spotlessly clean bathrooms, and the super comfy beds. The location couldn't have been better for Main Street shopping and dining as well as short drives to the local wineries, apple orchards, and other charming little towns. We loved it so much, we hope this trip will become an annual event. Highly recommend.

Carmen, Thank you for your wonderful review on your Winter Getaway stay at our Historic Blythe Cottage, Hendersonville, NC. Future guests will appreciate knowing more about the house and area from your details, thank you.
My wife and I were joined by my daughter and family, which included a 2 and 4 year old. The house and amenities were great. The beds are awesome. I would say medium walk to downtown Hendersonville which we did a number of times (kids in a wagon). Close to Jeters Apple Orchid which is one of the best we have been to, get there as close to 10 when they open as possible. We will do this trip again.
