Great Stay

This cabin was very clean, had a very good floor plan and was in a quite area with fantastic views. A kitchen with all the things that you would use. Beds were comfortable and nice bathrooms and laundry. The family will definitely stay here again.

Great Cabin with Spectacular Sunset

Perfect spot for a quick getaway to Sparta for the weekend. Well stocked kitchen and clean. The best part is the view overlooking a tree farm with miles and miles of rolling hills to then have the sun set behind. Would stay here again for sure.

Amazing and relaxing stay with gorgeous views!!

My fiancé and I had an absolutely amazing time at this cabin! We did not want to leave. Everything was very clean, you will have tons of space and endless views of the mountains and just surrounding area. We do plan on returning but with more family!

Great Weekend

The Fox Ridge Mt Cabin is beautiful and comfortable. Its close proximity to great outdoor adventure, golf and downtown Sparta was perfect for a long weekend trip with the family. We all wished we could have stayed longer and will definitely be coming back. Check in and host communications are superb.

Beautiful Cabin with amazing views!

Our stay at this beautiful cabin was absolutely incredible. The views were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our family especially enjoyed kayaking on the New River, which was a fun and memorable adventure. The home was cozy, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. We can't wait to come back!

Long weekend

We came for a wedding. My family stayed and my kids loved the freedom of the property. They could play outside and they had lots of things for them to lay with. The house was cute and well stocked with essentials that you always forgot (salt and pepper). Plenty of linens and blankets. Would definitely stay here again!

A Haven Away from Home

Wonderful views of mountains and pastures. We enjoyed morning coffee on the porch while listening to wake up sounds of chickens, cows, donkeys and crows. The cabin was comfortable. Quick access to Sparta. We attended the Mountain Festival Saturday. It was wonderful!! Everyone in Sparta was especially friendly. Wonderful stay!!

Wonderful getaway

I booked this for a boys trip for myself and my sons. Great home with a beautiful view. The house had a great cabin vibe and was well appointed. Lots of scenic driving and a cool downtown nearby. Petting zoo, long drives thru the mountains and Grandfather Mountain were some highlights of our trip. My personal favorite was the hosts dad stopping by for a long chat and giving us a jar of homemade strawberry preserves his wife made, they were delicious btw.

Porch Wonderful

Remote but not. Very little traffic on road to interrupt the serenity and view while sitting on the porch. Wrap around porch was great. We ate breakfast and dinner on the porch each day. Spent evenings enjoying the sunsets and surrounding scenery. Interior woodwork beautiful. Kitchen great. Well designed layout for two couples on a weekend vacation. Went out for lunch and site seeing each day. Town of Sparta with restaurants a few minutes away. West Jefferson downtown shops and restaurants a short drive. Stone Mountain a short drive. Wineries near Stone Mountain and Elkin a short drive. We will rent again next year.

Beautiful Getaway in the Mountains

Was an amazing week away from the city. The owners are very sweet and everything you'll need is waiting for you the first day you open the door. Be prepared though to drive up a steep driveway. The drive was worth the views! Walks in the morning next to the cows and farm animals was a blast for my toddler. Would come back any day!
